hey everyone, it's sharethread time, but this time, SELL IT. As always, artist - title (year), and a youtube link is nice too. Then greentext some thoughts on the work. FLAC is always nice, but seriously, don't bitch if someone shares MP3's. Just don't, dude.
>magnificent, earth-shaking tribute to the power of creative expression >incredible blend of a myriad of influences/instruments >superb vocal, percussion, and horn arrangements >final album with their talented original keyboardist Abdou M'Backe, who is an absolute powerhouse of textures, effects, and just generally excellent accompaniment >godly guitar solos >undoubtedly deep, meaningful lyrics which I don't yet understand >10/10 BNM
>audience recording, one of maybe three recordings of this great group live in concert >space rock >strange about your hands
Jordan Brown
>drive.google.com What is going on here? Something wrong with mega?
Jack Gonzalez
multiple gmail accounts = more space
you got a problem, jabroni?
Jonathan Taylor
Smidge harder to download a folder, but that's about it.
Elijah Wood
Archive is down AGAIN.
Nathaniel Davis
ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it - No samples on YouTube, Soundcloud? Drag'n'drop any mp3 on clyp.it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire|slacktunes" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
it wasn't that long ago that that pasta didn't even exist, ya know
Jordan Bennett
you COULD make multiple mega accounts with those multiple gmail accounts not that it matters that much to me or anything
Jace Hill
Missed one, I shared a lot of Tara Jane O'Neil stuff here:
Christopher Ross
Thanks for posting this, but when did the pastebins get phased out of the OP? I notice neither of the old threads has them, either.
Gabriel Morris
this thread is a fucking mess
use multiple mega accounts you get more space, less google spying shit and people can actually find what you're posting in the archive when they search with filters
third time you've posted this shitty bootleg, share something original
detwiije was formed in the UK and put out two works, an EP and "Ducks." The latter is lovely, lovely post-rock. The opener is magical. The way it rapidly builds up to a crescendo of guitars and violin only to halt immediately. Mileage may vary on the second track, it may be a tad too similar to Godspeed You! Black Emperor for most people. POP and la guerre des mondes are detwiije all the way. Credit to everyone involved, but Ellie Wilson is phenomenal. She rides the instrumentation like a surfer on a wave, swinging down into the tube and popping right back up when she needs to. Especially evident on the final track, it's fucking beautiful.
James Diaz
Isnt that one of those bands from.the 70s?
Lincoln Ortiz
Newfag here. Hit me with music I need to hear. >Inb4 fuck off newfag
Robert Harris
Check the pastebins posted here:
Aiden Wood

Norman Bates EP Trends & Boylan OILGANG015 >electronic, grime
It's actually a good bootleg. The version of "The Cinema Show" is a 10/10 and has great recording quality.
Jayden Williams
i can't listen to it because it's so grating bootlegs in general suck quality wise good music, just wish it was proper release quality
Christian Scott
Sharethreads are lacking as I believe most of us are dealing with finals in Uni. Give it a week and the quality of sharethreads will go back to normal.
Isaiah Phillips
That was lovely, thank you
Cameron Garcia
Agree, I don't think they should be forced at the moment
Kevin Bennett

If you like math rock, check out this Ecuadorian band I absolutely love. It's called Macho Muchacho: youtube.com/watch?v=lnhHUNUTns0
>bandcamp album that's free >in a share thread For what purpose?
Ryder Peterson
Did you listen to the youtube link at least?
This is not your typical bullshit bandcamo band. Their album was only available in Ecuador, not bandcamp, that's why I link the EP.
Ryan King
Not saying they are, just saying that this kind of stuff should be in bandcamp threads and not sharethreads.
Austin Bell
doesn't matter if it's free on bandcamp, provide download links or else you're just advertising i also know lots of bandcamp pages that are free to start, then start charging if they gain traction, so just a link may be useless in a few months
sharethreads are for sharing specifically hard to get music, not so much hella good music although that is a good part of it if your goal is to just share the joy of whatever artist with the world, and they're easily found/downloaded, there are usually other threads for that
Aaron Rivera
Oh, shit, you're right. Sorry, man, I just woke up and started looking at threads. Again, my bad.
Logan Wright
>1988 >88 nice.

Rare Gilles Peterson mix from 2005 >world, soul, hip-hop
Worth checking out, mostly because there are a few unreleased Madlib demo's that, to my knowledge, can't be found anywhere else. It's the track named Beats#23,15,30,88,17
I just use random artwork for mixes that have no cover art
Josiah Gutierrez

Lots of Mega links in the archives have been dead recently. Anyone know Google's policy on takedowns and punishment of the host account, if any? I like this Google drive sharing.
Noah Butler
I saw this posted on Cymbal. Rob is going places
Josiah White
I know I shouldn't make a request without sharing but I just had an idea:
Scaruffi has his top 15 jazz albums of 2015-2016 up, what if someone compiled all of them into one mega link so it would be easy for everyone to get them all?
