It's a manga that's been running for 20+ years now, and it's pretty incredible. One of the things that's most interesting about it, is that the author has basically reinvented himself in his style several times throughout the series, while still keeping it true to its roots. During the first 10 volumes (referred to collectively as the "Golden Age" arc), it's basically gritty 80s style manga of purely dark medieval warfare, becoming borderlined historical fiction. but in volumes 11-12+ literally hell opens up and pours itself onto earth evil dead style but in a completely serious manner. Over the next ~5 volumes you have every bit of bad in his world corrupted and risen to full blown demonic rape-fests; corrupt priests burning everyone at the stake, packs of roving goblins kidnapping women, raping and impregnating them to make more monsters, an evil god-emporer who tries to take over the world etc. It then turns into a traditional swords/sorcery fantasy where Guts assembles a team of rag-tag heroes to destroy the five God Hands of hell, one of whom was his best friend and rival during the Golden Age.

I actually liked the KanColle adaptation. Never played the games or any other content, so no idea how accurate things were, but it was enjoyable.

I quite liked Heavy Object. Great characters, lots of fun. Sometimes have to turn you mind off and ignore times when they stretch things to make things work out. Kinda like Aldnoah Zero but a lot better.
Flying Witch was a pretty comfy show.
Utawarerumono was good, but it's a reboot of the original which I haven't seen. Still good.
Also from this season/last, Re Zero has been pretty great.

Enjoyable for the new take on berserk. Miura has a hand in the script so we get another view on characters and scenes that he would have done differently. Its not a direct adaptation but still good enough.

Well funny enough we started discussing the plot daily about 2 weeks ago. He has numerous projects he is working on himself. He writes dungeons and dragons campaign ideas and creates character classes for a site and sells them. Only recently we decided we should work together to make a plot a game. Its something we have wanted to do since we were kids and realized why the hell we haven't worked on it. Hopefully we will have something more solid in a few months. I am sure it will take a few years to complete.
