I loved the new caretaker album, it just felt a bit like a dated concept to me no pun intended. If he intends to make this a long series, he better step on it and make them good.

Also, I appreciated the new Tim Hecker-just not to the extent I thought I would. Overall good list.

Very similar list to mine. Blackstar, 22, A Million, and A Moon Shaped Pool are all very good. As is Sleep Cycle which I realized I stupidly left out of my top 50 and need to add.

I plan on expanding into a top 50 list at some point as well, probably just before the year ends. There's quite a bit on yours that'll be on mine as well. That Alcest album just barely missed out on my top 20, great shit on there.

Not surprised about Chairlift. Polacheck has grown beyond needing someone else's music, IMO (even if her newer stuff ends up sounding more like Ramona Lisa, I'd be fine with that). I'll check out the rec, thanks.

my pleasure hope you like it. All I've heard is the new Olga Bell but it sometimes sounds almost identical to Chairlift especially her voice. On other songs she gets much more artsy abstract then Chairlift.
