Yfw it clicks

>yfw it clicks

right now lol, i'm not even kidding. am halfway through and there's less filler than i thought immediately after my first listen

meh pretty sweet is the first totally forgettable piece of filler

I didn't like it first listen when it was released at all. Now it's been 4 months and it's my aoty

Second half is very weak compared to the first. i'm at white ferrari and have basically been disappointed since solo reprise

2nd half is literally better pleb-o

lol wtf. the 2nd half is the better half. White Ferrari i think is actually my favorite track

It's great minus the skits + Futura Free

trash album

>Close to You
>White Ferrari
>Siegfried
>Godspeed
>Futura Free
please leave

this White Ferrari and Seigfried are arguably the best songs on the album.

Why isn't Self Control talked about more as the standout track?

white ferrari, close to you and futura free are alright but really nothing special.

i love the simple, yet very emotional style of the first half. second half is mediocre

because these plebs are all about the second half

Second half is way more simple and emotional.

i think yr confusing the two halfs. the 2nd half is way more stripped backand minimalstic

i agree. its a really fantastic track and the highpitched chrous is somehow not annoying

30 listens in and it's still an 8

Clicked straight away for me. Easily my favourite of 2016 followed by the new Tribe album.

Ivy is the best track, no debating

>solo
>self control
>nights
>everything from solo (reprise) onwards

It definitely didn't click for me right away, but at this point I think every last track on this thing is fantastic, including the interludes. I even see Facebook Story's purpose in the album. I don't see it as something to sympathize with, I just see it as a representation of how relationships have been evolving, for better or for worse

its seriously beautiful, it shouldn't but the fact that the knowles sister and chances albums were consistently ranked higher than this really chaps my ass

yeah i guess the yaas slay bitch meme is the more valuable narrative, would've thought that frank being gay would hold more weight with these rags but guess not. It will definitely be remembered as the better album at least.

it's more stripped-down, but not more emotional, imo. i acknowedlege "simple, yet emotional" sounds more of a description of the second half, but the second half feels dull compared to the first half.

actually when i say first half i mean song 1-10

Yes, I put my hand on my face when I hear the album too

You tried

...

There is a very good chance that I'll cry when I listen to any given song on this album

HAHAHA

I'm glad you guys enjoy the album so much... for me personally I prefer Channel ORANGE

I find a lot of this album was going for a more experimental approach a missed the mark. I like the ideas on it more than I like the album as a whole, I find it sounds forced. Still a good album, but I don't think it matches Channel ORANGE.

Love that one

My friend and I did this last night. Production is so well done and it's crazy how he utilizes his voice. Very simple instrumentals but Frank uses pure talent in his voice to make it amazing.

If you listen to the ending of Pretty Sweet, you can hear a lot of Radiohead influence. This is one of the best moments in the album imo.

Self Control got a 9 because it's just too good, and that outro gives me shivers every time. Nights didn't get a nine but it comes close, same with Seigfried. I'm still a little confused as to what he is trying to say with that song.

I think this album deserves an 8/10 rating. But I still love it to death.

Also good to note: Nikes will grow with the album. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed when I put on this album for the first time and Nikes played. It was definitely a grower.
