I would agree but ever since I've heard this song as a kid I've been fascinated with the intro. I just wanna know what he's breaking, why he's putting so much effort into it, and what inspired this.
It's a really cool moment which I think adds to the vibe this track gives off, and it would definitely just be another run-of-the-mill Green Day song without it.
