Hey everyone, new chart thread, last one hasn't had a reply in hours.

How's your day going, what to you do for work/study. If you're a NEET we probably accept you

post recs, rate charts, make assumptions, but talk about music.

LOL MOM I POSTED IT AGAIN

Mississippi luau - charlie mcalister

You'd probably like Naptakers or Spazz but I'm sure you're already familiar with Spazz. Scum Human is p good too.

'preciate it home dog

I'm not employed or studying anything
idk what to do with myself I'm not good at anything

anyway gonna guess that you have a good immune system and your wounds heal quickly

and for you I'm gonna say that you prefer the night time

All great power violence :^)

They don't

I never really know what to rec with you but I'm gonna say Life Without Buildings, or Crystal Waters, maybe Blood Orange. I'd check the last two out.

How is Kid Dakota?

Saved. Good chart.

Listen to it almost every day on my way to work, it's probably one of the better indie rock albums, lyrical content is great and the instrumentality really does help with the theme. It's just great, very melancholy, but then again it's just another white guy singing about a girl.

good chart
Hi mom
good chart
good chart

:)))))))))))))

So why aren't you listening to Black Dice.

adam torres - pearls to swine

I'm almost done with transfer stuff for my music degree and I'm tripping balls because I have NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT I'M DOING
LITERALLY NO FUCKING IDEA

I mean it's insane how much my life improved in the last year or so but I'm still a little fucked (by little I mean a lot) in the head so some stuff kinda looming over my head I'm not ready for at all
Like I literally dropped out of highschool in like January 2014 and was homeschooled after a few months of being a NEET and managed to graduate in August and then I did more NEET stuff and then I started going to college and then I started going full time in 2015 Fall which is when I got my first job and started going to a shitload of therapy and now I'm gonna learn to drive and I work 22 hours a week on top of going to school full time + gymcelling and dealing with mental stuff and it's some gangsta shit because all these adult responsibilities are stacking up and I'm just like fuck!! I'm not ready for this all I know how to do is post on Sup Forums and whine incessantly yet I get constantly reminded how much I have improved as a person by just the sheer fact that I haven't killed myself. I mean what the fuck!

The most annoying thing is trying to learn to talk to people as a twenty one year old dude. I literally have no idea how to talk to others. My mind literally just goes fucking blank.

I don't even know what school to go to ;_;

As you may be able to tell i am a sad person :~)

8.5/10
great taste, you have some of my favourite albums included. We seem to have somewhat similar taste

The 90's was the best peroid of time for music/10
Actually really good taste though. a serious rating would be somewhere around a 7 or 8/10

6-7/10

7/10

8/10

I don't know your music well enough to make a judgement/10

you're clearly retarded so you should just draw a check instead of working

tru

Thats not a very kind thing to say

Richard Dawson - The Magic Bridge

Kengo Iuchi - 邪鬼祭 '89ライブ

George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - The Main Ingredient

I think we would be good friends, my chart is just what I've enjoyed this year but my taste is very similar to yours
try Claude Larson - Plantlife

Yeah welcome to adulthood bud, it all comes crashing in way faster than you'd like it to. I'm sure you'll figure it out bud, opportunites will pop up to be seized. Also it sounds like you're going to develop functioning alcoholism for that social anxiety bud, so join the club.

Also need an ID on the 4th album from the top left, always forget the name.

I know Death Grips is a meme ruined by their memester fans but I do genuinely love Zach Hill.

If you haven't check out The Ladies or Bygones.

This is really nice, not really sure what to rec you.

I realized now how many times I said bud.

I generally don't let fanbases and memes get in the way of my enjoyment and appreciation of music. Death grips is in my top 3 favourite bands even though i find the community annoying sometimes.

>This is really nice, not really sure what to rec you.
thanks user, would appreciate any recs from any genre. just trying to expand my taste and listen to things I've never heard of

Their one of my favorite bands that I'm too ashamed to admit. Anyone check out those recs, those are all Zach Hill projects. Bygones is pretty great, Nick Reinhart from Tera Melos and Zach on drums.

And yeah, Zach hill is an amazing person and one of the best drummers of the modern era

Take all the memes and Sup Forums wankery out of the picture and DG is easily one of the most important and original bands at the moment

>DG is easily one of the most important and original bands at the moment

not an argument

do you guys keep your old charts? this was the first chart i ever posted in a chart thread. how far have i come?

toke my buthole gayboy the death grips suck mad ass

disagree

you would f*ggot

:0

hope thats your nose because im about to SOCK it

let's not derail this.

im gonna derail my train up your asstunnel bitch

>insulting people instead of actually providing a well thought out argument to disprove a statement

This is why i love posting on Sup Forums, i love this community

stop replying bitch

That was actually my first reply to you ya stupid wanker but i wouldn't expect any more from a filthy pleb >:)

stop trying to derail the thread little samefaggot bitch

i'm not even going to bother posting the obligatory screenshot that shows you're wrong

You're trying really really hard to fit in here aren't you, kiddo

>the first song of the first album is a straightforward dalek rip-off
>first 2 albums generally sound like less distorted and poppy blackie
>3-5 albums sound like if blackie was collaborating with grimes
>6th album is rap rock on the one half, and a some more blackie-like beats on the another
>7th album is $uicideboy$-like edgy trap rap on the one half, 3 nu-metal songs and some tracks that could have been on their previous albums on the another

sure they are original at mixing up all these things in one discography

>the first song of the first album is a straightforward dalek rip-off
not really

Recommends and opinions are appreciated!

death grips fags BTFO

>retarded death grips fanboy

>Death Grips

>living in denial

Deep Sea Diver - Secrets
Jump 5 - All the Time in the World

Got a version of that with all the names?

>only 4? You sure about that?

feel free to ask for recs, yea
>but talk about music.
dont tell me what to do
>I'm not good at anything
this

rec me something

Thanks. Nice to see Schwingungen up so high on someone else's chart. Love that album. Check out UFO - 2, Flying, as you seem to be big on Hawkwind.

but whats your chart

>comic sans

...

i rec you shut the heck up before i drive my ass up your ass

I've always liked looking at this chart. ID on the two nice oriental people standing on the beach.

oriental tis a racial slur so i' recommend you stop using it! the more you know!

I recommend everyone in this thread listen to THE CHERRY ICEES

oh

I said they were nice.

Herrison Bergeron, Pg.99., Saetia, City of Caterpillar, Kodan Armada.

you can thank me later.

Ween-Ocean Man

Wtf is your filename?

Hellhammer-Apocalyptic raids

Graveyard Productions-Tha Havoc
Pyha-Haunted House

thanks. and theres a pastebin on the chart, its lamp - for lovers
>Wtf is your filename?
whats wrong with it
ween - the mollusk

Schwingungen is so underrated compared to their s/t, such a great album.
but my favorite ash ra tempel album will always be Seven Up, that purple album on top.
Topsters didn't show it's title for some reason
Listen to Ween

Nothing's wrong with it, but like why?

just dont let it happen again. being ignorant is ok but being a d*ck isn't...

zzzzz

change is good sometimes

is me btw
>Check out UFO - 2, Flying
Oh I love that album. It was supposed to be on my chart I just forgot about it. UFO's hard rock albums are pretty good too but wish they did more space rock.
btw where's your chart user?
Thanks for the rec
Check out Van Dyke Parts - Song Cycle

Ash Ra Tempel is underrated in general. They're always second banana to Can, Neu!, and the like. But their s/t, and Schwingungen are amazing. I have yet to listen to Seven Up, I'll do it soon.

I haven't listened to their hard rock yet. I was a little turned off from such considering Hawkwind's albums after Doremi Fasol Latido weren't doing it for me. I'll move 'em up though.

Try slow riot by GYBE and the van pelt - sultans of sentiment
Try suicide-s/t
Good taste! Check out 'crossed out' - s/t
You should check out ween! Haha
Great taste! Everything in there i love :)
+top row

What are some good albums for people who only like rapping to get into singing music? I can listen to instrumental music, but singing just bores me.

Also, sorry that there's no real diversity on this chart.

Please rec and rate and criticize me intensely.

Idk what that is in the top left corner, but I'm listening to it based off of the cover alone. Also, if you like sample-based production stuff like Quas, Dilla, and Avalanches, I'd recommend checking out Knxwledge.
Now That's What I Call Music! 38
You have fantastic taste.
>Dalek
Moodie Black - Nausea
>Aceyalone
Myka 9 - It's All Love: American Nightmare
Freestyle Fellowship - Innercity Griots
>Atmosphere
Blueprint - 1988
Illogic - Celestial Clockwork
Aesop Rock - Labor Days
>Can O & Co Flo
Mr. Lif - Mo' Mega
Basically any other old Def Jux stuff.
>Eyedea
Sage Francis - A Healthy Distrust
Also, I'm glad that you don't have have By the Throat on here. I don't get why people like that one so much.

Every day there is a moment where I ask why I even bother with music and the answer is probably because i sincerely enjoy it for subjective reasons, but then i realize like why the fuck should I even care anyways???
I used to play a lot of guitar and drums and hell I probably could have had a voice if I wanted to but now it is all hip-hop (not a bad thing) I just really wish i stuck to something but genres are a spook anyways so who knows?
Babyfather, Kanye West, and Young Thug are the most notable artists of our current Timez TM
fucking shoot me if you give a single flying fuck
wake up
time to die
i wish i fucking knew how fucking logic pro X plugins worked and why apple is better suited for AUs instead of SVTs (STVs? STDs?) but fucking /prod/ are the most insufferable group of arrogant nerds ive encountered
i honestly love autechre to death and fine incunabula to be a techno fucking symphony No. 9 but computers are too hard idk what maths or sciences are like my screen rn a bunch of binary what even is that
ill stick to TOOL pseud fractals although i dont even smoke weed and psychs fry my brain to a meshuggah chaosphere
wish me luck senpai ill just use logic pro (garageband basicaly) instruments to produce cali trappers
peace

Slow Riot is good stuff. Never heard of Van Pelt, thanks.

>get into singing music

Try Hop Along - Painted Shut.

>Sole
Fuck me I gotta get around to that. I've had Bottle Of Humans for at least a year.

>More Heart Than Brains
Holy SHIT I got a hold of that two years ago I gotta listen to it.

Celestial Clockwork is a good one. Innercity Griots is fucking sick. I'll check the other stuff. What did you think of Sage Francis' Personal Journals?

By The Throat is overhyped. It's really emotionally naked with songs like Hay Fever, By The Throat, and Smile is just a classic; but it's all over the place everywhere else. Doesn't hold a candle to Oliver Hart, First Born, or E&A.

If you like Co Flo check out The Dynospectrum's s/t. It can almost contend with Funcrusher Plus.

youtube.com/watch?v=mxo5xsYPpNs

My current favourites are those, I change 'em very often tho
collage.topsters.net?id=f14f91afe8f8779946d55c21bbda90d5

Much respect for the Nosferatu OST great taste btw I can't really think of anything to recommend
Great tasste my dude Mission Of Burma - Vs. if you haven't already heard it.
Phenomenal taste, we would be friends, and I study Biology and Philosophy on Pre Med track

I don't think you'd like most of UFO's later stuff but give Phenomenon a try
Have you listened Warrior on the Edge of Time? I'd say it's quite different than Hawkwind's other albums
also definitely listen to Kingdom Come - Journey, it's right up your alley

Suicide is already on my chart so you're on the right track.

Thanks user, all great stuff too, although I wasn't too crazy about that Battles release. I really need someone to redpill me on Can, mostly because I haven't really gotten to deep into their music. Where's a good place to start.

Also I'm a tattoo artist so idk if we'd talk about anything other than music lol

...

>Personal Journals
I think it's ok, but I'm a bigger fan of Healthy Distrust, Death Dance, Life and Copper Gone.

>By the Throat
Yeah it has some great tracks, but as an album it's nowhere near First Born. Completely agree.

>Dynospectrum
Yeah, I've heard Dynospectrum, it's great. I think what makes Funcrusher better than it is the beats - Ant hadn't quite hit his stride yet that he would on stuff like God Loves Ugly. But the lyrics on the album are fantastic.

why do you faggots make the font so small

I had to dig for it but this is my old chart from 2012, earliest one I could find. Thing took me forever to make because I did it manually in mspaint. Had to google search 100x100 images for every album. What an innocent time.

I'll post my current chart after this. In some ways I'm surprised how much my taste has changed but I'm also surprised at how many albums remained on the chart.

Mouse on Mars - Instrumentals
Food for Animals - Belly
Holy shit the aesthetic here.

I'm suprised at how much charts I see with Black Foliage on them.

This is my current chart

great stuff

Really good, we have similar taste. Also reminds me that I should probably find somewhere in my chart to squeeze in The Gun Club. Also need to listen to Parson Sound, I've been meaning to give it a try.

holy shit you just reminded i need hex enduction hour on my chart wtf
