Whole album is a 10 but I don't see The New being brought up enough

The New is great but the real MVP is Obstacle 2. I just love how the two vocal lines intertwine.

ye, love the chorus in that one too

YES THE NEW IS GOAT... Best on the album but pretty closely followed by untitled

>post punk revival
>10
HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Say Hello To the Angels though, it's the best song on the album and some people think it's sub-par.
And talking about Interpol, C'mon is amazingly underrated.

i meant C'mere
oh and Specialist too it's probably one of their 3 best songs and no one cares about it because it's a B side.

I've listened to this album so many times and I can't even remember what The New sounds like

Red Hill Mining Town on The Joshua Tree

shit taste

who said I'm trying to please you user

>

I feel like Roland is overlooked. Honestly one of my favourite Interpol songs.

C'mere was the first song I had heard from Antics and it always stuck with me. Great tune

...

That moment in Untitled when the hi-hats come in is magic.

>When those shoegazey guitars come in halfway through NYC

>outro guitar riff in Leif Erikson

The outro for that song is so good.

the thing about this album is that every song has a spectacular ending. thats part of what separates this from the rest of their discog: they made every song have an epic finale

YOUR HAIR IS SO PRETTY AND REDDDDD
BABY BABY YOU'RE REALLY THE BESTTTTTTT

SHEEE SAAAYS

she can read
she can read

IT HELPS WITH THE LIGHTS OUT

say hello to the angels is amazing, the energy combined with the very memorable melodies is a winning formula. every turn the song makes just makes it progressively better.

How did they peak so early?

SHEEEEEE'S BAAAD

Most people would say something cliche like "you have your whole life to write you first album", but honestly, TOTBL is so fucking incredible in terms of absolutely everything in it, I have no idea how they were able to create something like it.

STELLAA
OH STEEEEELLAAAAAAA
STELA I LOVE YOU STELLA I LOVE YOU STELLA I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

That's a ride cymbal bro

All Neon Like

>mfw the outro of PDA

/thread

I might steal this. The whole seizure thing is kinda clever tbqh

Yeah it's great. The guitars at the end are eargasmic.

This

SHE WAS ALRIGHT 'CAUSE THE SEA WAS SO AIRTIGHT SHE BROKE AWAY

Oh yeah that's some shit right there.

I'm pretty sure the music video for PDA doesn't have the outro on it. A travesty

This 100%
Say Hello is so danceable

Blue Jay Way

SHE BROKE AWAY BROKE AWAY

>God is in the Radio
