ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it - No samples on YouTube, Soundcloud? Drag'n'drop any mp3 on clyp.it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire|slacktunes" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
lol are you mad or something? Here, I'll post something you might consider "good". If you don't like it go back to your fucking grimes containment thread.
=================== Tracey Thorn - A Distant Shore [1982, FLAC] >folk rock, proto-slowcore, indie pop
You made multiple threads about it and posted it on 2 sharethreads in a row? Hey at least your album's cover is nice, I'll give you that

Making them into a constant general was a mistake, it was better when they were sporadic and people only started them when they had some stuff to share.
and having people with actual good taste sharing would help too
Christian Turner
fuck off unless you're sharing somethin mate
Jaxson Morgan
I don't mind sharing bad music, i do it sometimes since i have some trash i enjoy listening to, the problem is that by these threads being constant people share just for the sake of it, even if the music being shared is good, the shares themselves are trash.
Gavin Nelson
i shared it in the last thread but am sharing it again cuz the thread was dead shortly after
dont blame me for making threads the fantanodrones did

I'll just keep posting this so people know it's out there and can look it up in the archive. It's still a fresh rip and new to the internet.

I'm a big Phil Elverum fan, always tracking down rare or out-of-print releases of his. I recently got my hands on a physical copy of the Black Wooden Ceiling Opening 10" that came with the original CD that featured the 6 songs that Mount Eerie fans are familiar with, plus a live concert that is composed of the album's songs and some from No Flashlight (fun fact: Stop Singing is also a song from No Flashlight originally). The live album is not anywhere online (except for a Youtube video of the performance of 'Don't Smoke' from this particular show) because it's hilariously rare and up until now those that own this release haven't ripped it. The CD slip of mine said 8/25 on it. I think the original 10" w/CD release was only sold on one Canadian tour in 2008 or 2009. Usually I wouldn't rip something that Phil put out but I doubt this show is ever going to be rereleased so here we are.
BLACK WOODEN CEILING OPENING by Mount Eerie-ELV016 --->With live concertMount Eerie meets Harvey Milk in arguably Phil Elverum's heaviest overall release to date >CD rip of the 6 studio recordings from the album + a live performance at the Department of Safety in Anacortes, Washington on October 30th, 2006 >The live show is more or less a bootleg as it seems to be an audience recording that Phil later approved of to be sold with the album. When the band gets particularly loud the sound clips pretty badly but it sort of adds to the overall raw aesthetic of the songs
Thanks for posting, I've been on a big Elverum kick lately, and its cool that you're sharing rare stuff.

Write few lines explaining how to do it, and it'll be added to OP's pasta. (...and it will be ignored by everybody like always).

Does anyone have a funk archive? Ideally with separate folders instead of on .rar, but beggars can't be choosers. Also looking for suggestions, since I only really started listening to the fundamentals like Parliament, Funkadelic, and Eugene Daniels. I couldn't find one on rebeccablack, but I am also on a speedball, and bad at searching.
Andrew Nelson
one .rar*
