Also, a brief idea, posted previously. Why don't we just make some sort of a Facebook group? That might be quite good to create some area for collaborations, general discussions and overall goodies. I mean, I don't know if that's a solid idea but... Tell me what do you think about it!

Loving me some of these:
I need some glitch over the piano track. Presumably formed from a piano track as well. Up for it?

Side project you say? You need some dick like me to ruin it?!

Also, here's some stuff that people have said about my music, so if you like "comfy" "soothing" "cozy" "beautiful" you may like this.

I'll see what i can do

Cool. Will prepare a track and send you soon-ish.

I definitely think we should start a facebook group, and in general try to always have little projects like making charts, playlists, etc. going on. It'd give us things to discuss here and also ways to spread our music, win win in my book

>it's not gonna be ambient stuff so i don't think you could help me much
Re-re-re-re-rejected
Almost like a friendzone but actually not like a frinedzone!

I think that too. However, not many peeps spoke about it yet and I just don't want to rush that thing if others aren't committed for it. But if some people will be up for that I can make a group ASAP

>and in general try to always have little projects like making charts, playlists, etc. going on.
how about we.... make a spotify playlist sometime soon
i feel like a lot of people will be left out though, most people on here don't have their music up there

Recs

That playlist thing could be better if we do like a compilation on BC, release it and then throw it onto Spotify with proper linkage and coverage (if possible), That would remove "I don't have anything on Spotify" problem.

You probably won't find a lot of people super committed, and with everything like this that we do there's going to have to be one person who spearheads the project. But once the group is up, I'm sure you'll see lots of people who are interested in supporting it.
>feel like a lot of people will be left out
That's just the nature of this sort of stuff, you'll never be able to include everyone. But the more things we make, spotify playlists, youtube playlists, RYM lists, charts, I've seen a few bandcamp labels here, the more likely someone can be on at least one of them. And part of the goal of making this stuff is to direct people to these threads. Get more newcomers visiting and hopefully get a good portion of the population coming here just to check out music, not necessarily post their own. And again, it'd give us something to discuss and work on in these threads.

We can just test it out, later on we can just delete it if the thing goes sour. In order to make a group I need to invite at least one person right away. Who's up for it? Contact me via contact form under this BC:

Hey people who are trying to collab, here.

I'd be down to make some abstract videos like
youtube.com/watch?v=iJFOjUbRkSE
youtube.com/watch?v=BHkm7d4Bl-w

I always thought these kinds of videos would go great with either ambient or electronic like vapor/chillwave

yeah, you're right. the service i use for getting my music on spotify i could put up pretty much anything for free as long as it doesn't have any copyrighted material, so it wouldn't be a big hassle for me to do that.

let's just do the facebook group first

Sort of like Tool, but not shit. Solid writing, well produced. No complaints, although desu it doesn't grab me by the balls and swing me around the room like some stuff does. It actually reminds me the most of this band called Deadsoul Tribe that's pretty cool, although your stuff isn't as heavy as them, or aven as heavy as Tool, which works in your favor as their heavy can feel a little forced and formulaic.
Built tension pretty effectively at the beginning but it never really followed through on it's intent. By the end it was just kind of a mess. There's actually a good melody buried somewhere in there and I feel like you'd be better off pursuing that element of it than the raunchy guitar squawks. To be clear, I like some noise stuff. I'm not just going "hurr durr not music, play the music part."
Not really my cup of tea (the sporadic metallic bits were particularly grating) but I feel like this is right up the alley of A LOT of the idiots on here that probably wrote you off primarily because you have South Park character on your album cover. It also helps if you give people feedback.
This is something seriously cool and unique. Has enough of a rock vibe to it's trip hop sound that I actually like it. Maybe a bit less delay and verb on the vocals. Not that it matters to me in the end because they're not in English so I won't be able to understand them even if they were clearer. Anyway, recommended to all who read this.
The stuff with a recognizable melody is fine, and I get the retro vieo game appeal of this stuff. But the dirge-y interludes turn me way off. My jaw is all fucked up and sometime it cracks painfully. If I'm listening to music at the time, the music will seem to pitch up a little over a quarter tone. It's not fun, and your music sounds like that on purpose.

Continued from What with those 80's-ass synths and drums, it sounds like a Sting solo project more than jangly dream pop to me, which isn't a bad thing at all, but the vocals are really bad. Plus they're drowning in effects, which makes it seem like you know they're bad and are trying to hide it.
The Transient Life stuff is sick but the rest of it doens't really do it for me. I'm a huge fan of the whole post-black metal thing.
Extremely kvlt. And pretty good. The kvltness of it makes it a bit of a tough listen but I respect the kinda avant-garde use of just pure ugliness, not only in production and vocals but in the composition too.
The vocals need a little work. Singer can't quite hit some of the high notes, and I hate how reverby they are. Songwriting-wise though this is really good stuff I like the little guitar leads and the sort of reggae-ish drum sound.
Absolute trash. Unfuckinglistenable. Everyone else was right to skip this. CURSED AUDIO. DO NOT LISTEN.

I really like the sounds you've integrated in some tracks, the alarm-clocky trills, the washed up shimmering guitar, the pitched up voices, the weird combination between melodica-vibrato

I'm thanks user

That sure is black metal.
I am not predisposed to liking freak folk so take my shit with a grain of salt. I really like the way that one chord in Infearior sounds. You know the one I'm talking about lol. I guess it was all just a little boring to me. There are some nice parts, like the accordion(?) in Rabbit Hole, but for a genre that overall seems to try real hard to be weird as fuck and dodge cliches, it still falls into a lot of the same traps that normal folk music does. Kind of repetitive and musically simple. If you had tagged it as just plain old folk I would have accepted that. Just fails to catch my interest.

: : real quick feedback : :

I don't recommend any one do anesthesiology by yourself, I do recommend you listen to this though. very rarely do i like bandcamp singer songwriter

Your structuring and overall progression vocally and instrumentally is pretty great, this is some good stuff from a guy newer to punk. Keep it up.

Vocals tend to get drowned out in the mix sometimes, but the instrumentals are nice and smooth.

Holy fuck I love this. That lo-fi feel with the very washy vocals just has such a nice summer vibe to it. Good job.

Such clean mixing and some weird instrumentation makes this a very nice listen. Good job on the experimentation and keep it up.

sorry user, seems you've posted at the tailend of the thread and probably won't get many replies. be sure to post in the next thread, also giving feedback and participating helps keep the threads alive and most people who get feedback return it

I like it. It's post-rock but doesn't fall into the trap of sounding like a rehash of a bunch of other releases. Looking forward to the new album!
Great as always! I admire musicians who create albums with cohesive themes throughout.
I like the jazzy influence. I know sloppy is probably what you're going for, but I think it could benefit from a bit more practice to make it a bit tighter, keep it lo-fi though! This has the potential to be amazing :)
re: improvisations II. I'm enjoying this! I think the piano would fit really nicely into a soundscape if you're ever up to do a bit of design.

I gave you guys feedback in my last post but it got deleted somehow. Rewriting!

Solid production! Something about the reverb on the vocals rubs me the wrong way though, I think a bit of experimentation to help it fit in with the instrumental would make the already great production even better :)
The drums on this really get me pumped, love the chopping! I also like how it gets pretty polyrhythmic against the synths. Good stuff!
I like this a lot, especially the track "14-1-20-1-19". I love the minimalistic echo and the close-up computer sounds that compliment it really well!

This is excellently executed raw black metal. Really like some of the ominous riffs used here, especially in the first track.
