Thanks man, I tried KKB for the first time this week. Pretty fun but really my type of music

Thanks for the recs!! I've listened to MIAOU already and been meaning to listen to Mouse On The Keys for a loooong time because I absolutely love jizue and apparently they are kinda similar.

Nice to see Suis La Lune, I'm friends with some of the members! Have you listened to Funeral Diner?

Also you should try "Suffocate For Fuck Sake - Blazing Fires And Helicopters On The Frontpage Of The Newspaper. There's A War Going On And I'm Marching In Heavy Boots", great Swedish screamo/post-rock/post-metal with samplings of Swedish radio documentaries. There are some translations floating around for the spoken word and you should read it while listening because it's really great

That's a whole lot of albums I've never heard about! Is most of it metal of some kind?

miaou is an old favorite, i haven't listened to them in a while but I was reminded of them thinking of recs!

I saw mouse on the keys live this weekend, they're incredible

Suis la lune is like top 5 screamo for me, that's awesome you know the guys! I actually never really got into Funeral Diner, just a few listens here and there. I'll give em a true shot again!

I actually listened to a bit of the newest SFFS album and I had a hard time getting into it (i didn't care for their older stuff much). Maybe I just never put in the time to getting into the translations and story?

+joy division
+murmuure, kangding ray, woven hand
munly & the lee lewis harlots - s/t
yair elazar glotman - etudes
l'acephale - stahlhartes gehäuse

theres some metal but ive been listening to a lot of different genres

Man SFFS's latest album is NOWHERE as good as their earlier. Their first EP is criminally underrated, and Blazing Fires... is a goddamn masterpiece.

I'd say try Blazing Fires with the translations, I don't really understand how people can like SFFS without knowing Swedish / reading the translations, it's at least half of the experience. Here are scans of the CD with translated lyrics if you want to listen some day: imgur.com/a/Q31iZ

And yeah haha Suis La Lune is probably one of the bands I've seen the most times, they rule every time and the people in it are the nicest ever.
I drive past Riala every time I go to my girlfriend ;)

alright i'm convinced, someday soon I'll read those while I listen to that SFFS album!

oh man that's incredible, they were once gonna come to my little state in the USA but they cancelled the tour i think :( I'd give so much to see them live holy moley

Ah yeah the drummer had some troubles with his wrists after Riala so they had to cancel the tour :(
Now the old drummer plays guitar instead and the old guitarist plays drums lol, very talented people

How do I make a chart?

Create a last.fm account, scrobble to it with your favorite music player during the week, then go to tapmusic.net and it will make a chart for you automatically when you enter your username

I'm guessing you dont have last.fm though, then you can go to collage.topsters.net/ , choose your size, then enter the albums you've listened to the most during the latest week / month / whatever
