Motel 6 isn't a hotel

No it's not, those are operated mostly by foreign families. Entire family works different jobs and they live on-site.

How many cocks have you seen 'accidentally'?

Funny. We don't enter the guest rooms while occupied. The housekeepers do see quite a few...

What do you do for work?

Whats the best way to get free stuff and better rooms in a hotel?

I always tip staff more than $5, even the clerk at the check-in desk. Im polite, you know, just act the regular.

But is there something extra nice i can do to get free or better stuff/service? Is there something i should avoid doing?

A concierge is a glorified guest service agent, so we work with important guests and help them enter quietly and such. We help anyone with making reservations, answering questions about what to do and where to go. Sometimes we try to make someone's stay a bit nicer - like sending some champagne to the room for a couple's honeymoon vacation.

tldr: We stand at a desk and talk to people.

Do u often get hooker requests. I worked as a doorman fot some time and i had some guests from other coubtries coming to me and asking if i know where to get girls.

That meant to be a question

Don't book through a 3rd party. Ever. Expedia, booking and such all get discount rates so you will never get special treatment. Tipping helps, knowing a guy who you've consistently tipped helps more. If someone hands me a $100 I will not only give them my card but tell them to call me when they want to return. You can get in on sold-out holidays, suite upgrades, the works.

Nice! Thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it!

Haha, yup. You need to know how to ask. If you ask for a hooker we tell you "I am sorry sir, I cannot help you with that". If you ask where to meet people, I tell you some decent bars/clubs in the area where you can pick up someone. If you ask for private massage - something a little more discrete than going to the spa, slide over $20+ I'll tell you the name of the Asian massage parlor. Less liability that way.

Currently at work at a hotel. I'm an auditor. Basically the highest paid non-salary position in the hotel. Do AR AP book keeping payroll taxes insurance etc.
Ask for the "No Walk Rate" or something like that. Then ask if they can go even lower. Usually we have 2 or 3. (So we have some leverage) For a better rate.
Drunks ask me this shit all the time. I've also broken up fights, 5 mexican guys drunk fighting over a landwhale for example. You just kinda laugh it off.
0 at this job.

What is your most favorite sci-fi movie?

No problem. also, just being nice and getting to know a couple people helps too. We remember the good and bad, so if you come every holiday and like the corner room with the view - we can usually make it work. It never hurts to ask nicely for something. If we're at 5% occupancy - it isn't difficult to get you on one of the executive floors.

Night audit? You poor bastard.

I'm a fan of the original Star Wars. Most recently I enjoyed watching Arrival.

Currently night shift at an airport property.
I do not treat my guests equally.

No one does. How do you all do it?

At our property, the loyalty program is one of our biggest factors in deciding who gets what. it reminds me a bit of a caste system.

Our loyalty progam is the same way. I like them because they're like cattle.

do you care if i order a hooker to visit me in my room (4 star hotel, traveling businessman)? i assume you know she's working as soon as she walks in

Houston Marriott Night Auditor checking in.

I start the egg timer every time i see a slut shamble through.

What city/brand do u work for

Anybody drive shuttle bus?

is there any way to get a free meal without actually being a customer?
do you have a lost and found I can go and take things from?

Have you ever looked for a hotel online?
Have you seen how many prices there are for the same room?

Get out of here you bum.

hotel concierge here too.
ive got the night shift. im working right now. ill also answer any questions u niggers got.

...

wife was a concierge at a large dallas establishment for about a year awhile back. went from an auditor to a concierge back to auditing because the people are so, so very awful.

staying for two nights in a mid-tier room does not turn the hotel into your personal servant.

how realistic was The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as far as hotels go?

pretty real
maybe like 63 real.

this, i would like to know this too
do i have to pay for a 2nd guest over night?
or can i "bring a friend"?

kek

Do hotel staff put hidden cameras behind mirrors, and do you put the hottest women in those rooms?

Florida hotel, jaded user.
Standing by.

>"I saw the price online for cheaper....."
>Insta-Hate.

Time has shown me the worst of the entitled white man.
Ama

how do i actually get a discount on a room without pissing you guys off?

at least you dont work near the us mexico border.
rich mexicans are the most entitled people ive ever encountered.

5$+ on the rate for 2 adults.
Just book a room for 1 adult, save money.

south texas user detected

just be cool dude.
showing any type of attitude will get you instantly hated and u will receive 0 discounts. cheapest prices are gonna be online. ask the front desk worker if they can match the online prices.

mercedes or mcallen?

if i slip in a $50 at check in and ask if there's any complimentary upgrades, what's my chance of it working?
I assume nobody here works at a vacation destination, but Hawaii and vegas are on my short list.
Obviously wont work if they're full up, but this wouldn't be spring/summer/winter break times
probably middle of the week check in

harlingen

Ask what online site they price match.
Pretty much the best way, or ask if their manager could set up an account rate for you

nobody is gonna risk their job for 50 bucks.
ive turned down hundreds. its just not worth hooking people up at hotels.

wut?
but thats the question:
the booking is for a room and 1 adult.
adult brings another adult - do i have to pay for that?

Lmfao that's because people do see prices online cheaper.. maybe if your job wasnt made useless by tripadvisor or etc you wouldnt be so mad but 2016/2017 ya'll are like gass station workers in Oregon... soon to be gone.

not that guy. but at the hotel i work at (country inn and suites) you can have up to 5 people without getting charged extra.

hotels still need to be run dude. tripadvisor doesnt run audits every night or check people out or do housekeeping or provide on demand assistance to guests.

Id break ur 50, hand you 30 back in change after upgrading you to jacuzzi suit.

how much would i have to tip you to get rid of a dead hooker?

id take your money and call the cops.

>tripadvisor does your job for you
>someone who clearly hasnt been behind the front desk of any job.

ok so i guess that would be the exception then.
i was in a'dam recently and was thinking about ordering an escort to the room.. but i didnt want to pay another 200$ for having another adult in my room over night.

guys please leave tips on the breakfast tables.
the kitchen workers often work in horrible conditions for shit pay and have no other work options available to them.

Depends on the hotel.

In mine, the amount of people is specified on the rate and reservation. If the room allows more people, it's $29.75 per person, per night.

How much you got on you?
>still callin the cops.

u dont really have to tell anyone how many people u are having over.

if someone came in a checked in and later brought in his family i wouldnt even know.
and most of the time front desk workers dont care who you have over.

very true on the house keeping and "Demand assistance" honestly if I had a job like this, I wouldn't be able to go far.. I've stayed in hotels and have been down the hall from some of the most absurd shit I ever seen, some dude was too lazy to walk across the road to a real steakhouse then cries that the hotel steak isn't "medium rare" and tries throwing it at the staff... idk probably a rare circumstance but whatthe hell, maybe I shouldn't be so harsh, that takes.... something to put up with.

>In mine, the amount of people is specified on the rate and reservation. If the room allows more people, it's $29.75 per person, per night.

same, but no extra charge. what hotel is it you work at? that kinda really sucks man. ur sayin if someone reserved a double queen they have to pay the rate of the room plus the extra person whos taking the other bed?

thats good to know..

but if somebody obviously goes to his room with a bunch of hookers you cant pretend like you dont know, right?

well dude bitter people exist and will never go away in this world. theyre just her to always be mad and not happy with anything given to them.
these type of people go hand in hand with large bank accounts.

but srs I cant explain how many times I've ran into hotels and ppl quoted me an AWEFUL price, and its like dude you can get two beds for cheaper online than one. cmon... imma go elsewhere, does that rly get you hate? I wouldnt for ANY reason need two beds... but hahaha steal cheaper sometimes, than a lazy ass hotel assistant, NOT always tho every now and then someone treats me like a human and gets me a deal. so rare doe.

And then, you didn't read the whole agreement.

And there's a 10% resort fee due upon arrival. And a $100 security deposit.

And then you'll say it didn't say that anywhere and we'll confidently hand you a Wi-Fi password so that you may see its there. And since they get commission for sending you here, you're not getting upgraded at what you paid.

It's a middleman.

Whoops double

dude thats what hotels are for.
i get gay fags comin in on the daily probably cheating on their wives. i get decent looking rich guys with the trashiest drunk ass hoes all the time.

the only time im going to care is if the girl looks like shes about to raped or underage.

No room in my hotel that big.

It's a small hotel by the beach with 36 rooms.

And it sucks immensely. To enforce this rule, every one gong up must be registered to a room, and people wanna get laid, not stop and ask their girl who they just met to show ID.

Pro-tip. Go to your room alone.. and tell hooker to come in a few minutes later.
.. You will probably be drunk.. and you will need to use the alone time to put all your valuables in the safe apart from the required hooker cash...

wat, I understand deposits and tax... do I seem retarded? I must...

Do you now where the Sugar Bowl is? Or how to open the Vernacularly Fastened Door? Asking for a friend

True.

Great part of the job is discretion. In or outside the job.

You see someone come back to stay, with another female, don't be an idiot and welcome them back.

If you see a previous customer outside the job, the same applies.

Ever 'caught' anybody you know or are acquinted to?

i am probably not drunk but high af..
also not putting anything away because i didnt took a niggerhook and not vacationing in a 3rd world country. thank you very much.

Locally famous people is all.

But it's funny who comes in for quickies, got an old Asian couple last night.

My hotel is tiny, and because of that, the owners believe it may be run entirely by one person. So I do it all when I'm there. And I have seen a lot of cock and ass and tits in my job. I'm security too, so they throw the shit and fight me.

I get to know the customers pretty well, it would be very stupid for anyone I know to forget this is where I work.

Very high percentage of hookers here in western europe are eastern european.. just a tip not to leave anything to valuable dangling around that could tempt them them, even if not their prior intention to rip your stoned ass off..

you're probably right.
also i wouldnt dare to argue against your trips comrade.

> best question ITT
> OP ignores

I useto rock your field... you poor bastard.

Aren't transgenders the fucking worst?

They fucking trash the rooms like they're some fucking rockstar and fucking leave their meth pipe behind all the fucking time

Too many cheapskates at some hotels.
They demand low prices for a room (go to Motel 6 or the Best Western, you fucks).
They want free breakfast
They want free bottles of water
They want free Starbucks coffee
They don't understand why prices for Friday and Saturday nights are higher than for Sunday nights

Hi.

Small hotel guy here.

I'll tell you what I tell my customers:

>If we were to hide cameras in your room, we wouldn't do it where you expect. So no, there is definitely not a camera behind any mirror or within the infrared receiver on your cable box.

I visit creep threads at times, but the idea of sorting through customer's footage until I get go someone decent looking doing something worth looking at is ridiculous to me since I already have to sort through footage from regular security cameras.

Not my thing.

I actually work at a hotel that used to be known as "gay". Now its online and everyone knows about it but it had a gay bar and everything.

No. Trannies, while a handful, are hardly the worst.

The American tourist is by far the worst traveller, and of them, the African American tourist is often the biggest problem. Sorry, but it's true.

I can check in a black person from France, shit, Ghana, and they'll be people. Just normal customers. An African American, well, she yell at every rule, try and eat an enormous amount of food at the lobby, fight with her boo or whatever so we have to go upstairs, fucking smoke in the room and the lie within a smoke filled room about it. Drugs. It's endless. The only people I've had to beat up are African Americans.

my gfs best friend came in with some guy. i wasnt suprised cuz shes a slut. but i thought it was funny cuz that same guy is always getting rooms there with random girls. i didnt call either of them out tho cuz honestly i dont care. let them have fun for the night.

>Too many cheapskates at some hotels.

Ha.

All so true. And then they tell you how the Vanderbilt has rooms at the same price and they could've booked there, or about some other time in some other hotel where they just got what they wanted and you should be like them.

Good ethics. Don't lose a customer.

also the slut friend is sexy and the thought of her getting fucked is hot.
i walked by the room and i could hear her moaning.
i proceeded to rub one out in the back office.

True! I had to come from behind knock out a american nigger with our lobby ashtray for beating his woman in the fucking LOBBY at 3am!

The couple were regulars too! Always respectful. But just one fucking night, the guy fucking snapped

shout out to all my bros working night shifts at hotels and smoking the dank all night!

I've done carpentry projects at Hotel Bel Air, it used to be a great place to do jobs... then this cunt started working there and had a problem with me using the mens restroom 10' away and wanted me to walk to the employee's one. Like who the fuck cares? They also used to provide free meals in the employee cafeteria, and I would sometimes not charge for some services to be cool, but then they started charging for that. Now it's all weird, straight up whores walking around all high, but I'm not good enough to piss in their bathroom. Was way cooler before the remodel.

i dont get any african americans in my hotel.
guess im lucky.

i only had one. she slipped in the elevator and tried to sue the hotel. she failed.

Dude, no.

Sometimes I don't even go up to a floor I know there's fucking happening.

Once I checked in these two girls, had to set up a TV in the room next to theirs after a while and the moaning was so fucking much, very inconvenient hard on that wouldnt go away. And I had other rooms to visit with people in them. My dick head was peaking out above by belt under my shirt and all I could think is they saw.

do your maids hook you up with leftover up opened beer, unsmoked weed and unused condoms. Mine did because I useto give them extra hours

oh shit that happened to us too, she poured water on the floor next the ice machine and went hysterical, called the cops, etc.

Funny thing is it was all caught on tape.

thats why u fap to take the boner away.
ur supposed to learn how to take care of these situations at like 13

lol. my hotel has 0 cameras. inside and outside.

i dont know how the owner gets away with having no surveillance.

you sound like a fucking idiot to me.

Small hotel guy here.

Yes. It's often very bad beer too.

And full disclosure, and advice to druggies in hotels, if a customer is a real asshole, and I know he is high, I go in there and steal their shit. Drugs, money, whatever. Only once they came to me about it and the conversation ended quickly when I offered to call the police so they could make a report. I just realize the few times its happened, it's African American tourists.
