hmm, not a good start to your EP. I suggest making the first track something that better catches people's attention. Plus, singing isn't your strongest point, so having an intro that focuses on it reaaaally isn't a good way to start.
The track improves a lot from there though, teh guitar tracks are great, and the way you harmonize with them sounds surprisingly awesome after that intro. Also, the ending isn't too good either, because it kind of just seems to fade out in the middle of the song. Come up with an ending man. You can do it.

Back with recs
abrasive guitars
rattling drums
heavy production
It's a really fine EP though. My only complaint about this type of extreme music has always been the length. I know it defines grindcore but I wish it didn't. Keep doing what you're doing guys, make the guitars a bit sharper and less saturated.
You're not too prolific, are you?
It would be more powerful if you focused on distorted bass and keep the guitars for the intense parts.
Would happily own the cassette if I had a way to pay for this
You did well on Atonement
If you like ambient, FUCKING CHECK OUT THE MAGNIFICENT COLD ALBUMS
Holy shit I expected this to be meh but it exploded into something really intense
I guess Even Oxen was right when he hyped you
Cheap but effective visuals
The crisp instrumentals really sound like as the cover arts promised. Perfect music to drive to at night

This shit is bitchin' as fuck
Always lookin' for new grind stuff, and this is fucking fire
Really good noise
I can see myself going back to this thing, why not
I've heard your stuff before, dig it a lot, you've given me feedback twice I think
>Really good noise
thanks
I checked out your stuff, I'm really digging those gritty, heavy ass beats. Is that title a reference to Whitehouse?
thank you
Yes, good call there, it is, I was listening to Whitehouse in a really fucked up time and the title (and the music) is an homage to Whitehouse.
>I was listening to Whitehouse in a really fucked up time
I feel that, a lot of my inspiration for making my noise music comes from listening to a ton of it to help me get over a heroin addiction and to cope with depression and anxiety. It's extremely therapeutic for me

I've taken a lot of the criticism on-board and next time around I'll be focusing on tracks with lyrics instead of instrumentals. I feel I really screwed up by not including any of the tracks that I had planned to finish with vocals.
I like the structure and crispy mix! And dem kinda Galaxie 500 vocals! Great stuff.
Cool spooky atmosphere on Atonement. I really like your album art choices as well.
Hell yeah I love this! The opening on Launched Into Orbit was perfect lol

I know i'm not the best singer or producer,
so far my main focus lies on the lyrics, the
guitarwork and playing around with songstructure a bit. Would love some feedback on it, will return and leave some later.
>will return and leave some later.
;)
>will return and leave some later.
the ultimate lie.
It really makes me question is it worth to give feedback when people don't even let me know they read the shit I wrote about their music.
Yeah it sucks how dump-and-go these threads are. Soundcloud threads are the same way. For what it's worth, I enjoy reading all the reviews of all the releases. I thought yours were insightful.

A bit too harsh for my taste, though I enjoyed your Holdegy EP.
While you sound like you have potential, making a demo EP is not the way to go imo. My advise is to try to buy a few good microphones or some studio time. Hard to listen to when the audio quality and recording quality are so bad.
This sounds really interesting, will download and listen to later.
We've made a new EP, hope you'll like it.

As I hear it's contact mic on a washing machine, and looped, reverb-soaked noises
I like it actually.... is that bad?
I like it! Reminds me of Badly Drawn Boy. The percussion sounds beautiful and roomy.
This is me, I'd appreciate any thoughts!

why your preferences should be considered as bad? listen to what you enjoy and stop caring about others opinion lol
No, it's good for harsh noise wall. Quite good actually. Tape release will be out soon I heared from 3th party.

BREAKING NEWS:
Wall noise takes no effort
Holy Moly you figured it all out by yourself?
>mjiggidy.bandcamp.com
thanks. yeah i recorded the drums one mic. that's my current setup.
hey your ep is super interesting texturally. like the mandolin and strings on the 1st and 3rd tracks. also the detuned flutes on 4th track is super cool. overall really tasteful use of dissonance and color. beautiful.
i like the use of the tr 909 samples, they just sound a little too clean. i would modulate some crunch, delay/room reverb, pitch, etc. to keep them from sounding stock.
good stuff overall. keep it up! def post here again when you have new stuff, i'd like to listen
see, that's why it's bad. it's not even a tiny bit good. since it's so effortless it loses a sense of even mattering at the end of the listen. just another one into the pile. nothing special about it, nothing memorable. i think you should take notes on that as well although you are at least varied enough to not be a bore
post rock, ambient, noise, whatever, it's all different on each ep...newest one is more rock based
