I remember Mighty Max was sooo fucking Dark. In the very first episode, some poor sucker in a drugstore got burnt to a crisp by a lava beast, in the aliens episode, Max and his buddies fell in a vat full of brains that got ripped out by a huge harvesting machine.
There also was that episode where the big brute entered a cabin and a whole family was slaughtered in there and he told Max not too enter because it was fucked up in here.
Mighty Max didn't fuck around.
