Nice bods, Sup Forumsros - just a quick question. Im a pretty skinny dude but have sizable belly fat and some fat on chest. Would it be better to say fuck it and eat big/lift big and deal with losing the fat after I have decent muscle mass, or lose the fat and look completely anorexic and start from there?

OP here. The first option would be better.

nice dubs. it depends on what you want. there are different types of bodies to go for. (model, weight lifter, slim,etc)
Once you figure out what you want then you can shoot for what body you want to shape yours.

Not bad, a little disproportionate. It looks like you don't work out enough, but at least you lost weight and are thin now.

Just overall bigger, more esthetically pleasing. Issue is, to build muscle you have to eat a surplus but I had the belly fat and small case of man boobs, so even I eat just over my BMR, there's going to be some fat there. Which sucks because I'd like to work out and look in the mirror and see myself not only getting bigger but more shredded. right now I'm getting bigger, but the belly fat is increasing as well.

A lot of models have specific meals and work outs. Mostly fish, chicken, and vegetables.

GNC or vitamin world sell shakes to help you out and the people over there have always helped me with advice for the body type that i want.

Got the same issue, except I'm a little over 6 ft and about over 205 lbs when I started, but decided to just get bigger, and lose the fat later on.

I've put on like 9 lbs over the past 2 months, but since I definetly got a lot stronger aswell, I figure I'm on the right track

well best of luck. Remember that cardio makes you lose mass. If you weight lift alone then remember you HAVE to have a specific diet and calorie intake. (no junk food or soda at all) So you wont have belly fat.

camera angles and lighting makes so much difference. Ive made my body look like im huge but in reality im not.

Medications make me sick and have zero sex drive so I literally gym and walk constantly to keep my mind at ease

Which came first? Did u start working out to fight anxiety and depression or is it something that came after you started to work out?

Depression and anxiety first. I am almost 31 been on different medication since early 20's. Therapy helps heaps also. But physical activity seems to help me the most
