The real problem comes with too many furry threads getting posted on Sup Forums. Mods have historically let s and g fur threads go, but with introduction of scub or gcub, the risk of Sup Forums turning into /trash/ might cause mods to lash out. Now, if they lash out by just culling all fur threads or only the "new" cub ones is an entirely different measure.
The question then becomes, should cub fur have their own threads?
