The way I see it, he's having a career path similar to Rosberg. Problem is that he will need time to adapt to the mercedes car, team and enviroment. This is not good as he will have to deal with all of this against a Hamilton that is peaking. He'll probably have a shot at WDC if Mercedes keeps being dominant in the future as the guy is not bad in any measure, but I seriously doubt he'll keep Hamilton from winning more titles if the latter keeps his thirst for greatness.
