unless mecedes become drastically worse, then Lewis and who ever his partner is will be challenging for the title for the next couple seasons i think. Then max will have to wait until red bull get there shit together (or hopefully moves to merc, even though that's very unlikely to happen) and then he'll be challenging for the title. also what happened to jules? did he die or is he at home?
Gavin Torres
He died last year.

>Vettel said he had not understood the order to hold station, issued in coded form as 'multi-21', but would probably have ignored it even if he had fully comprehended.
>"Had I understood the message, then I think I would have thought about it, reflected on what it means, what the team wants me to do, to leave Mark in first place and me finishing second. And I think I would have thought about it and probably done the same thing because Mark doesn't deserve that."
>Pressed by Reuters on why he felt Webber, who had obeyed instructions to turn down the engine and look after the tires, had not deserved to win, Vettel replied bluntly:

People who follow team orders are betas
Look at Vettel and Multi-21 or Hamilton doing his Trulli train in Abu Dhabi
>still wanting to follow team orders after what Webber did in Brazil 2012 >still wanting to follow team orders to let a driver you have completely demolished at every opportunity win
Literally did nothing wrong

How do you not lose total faith in your personal manager if he also happens to be the head of the best team in F1, then there is then an unexpected vacancy in that team and you are the most qualified and most experienced and consistent Mercedes-associated driver, and your manager ends up NOT picking you?
I mean I can understand if Alonso got chosen, but if they actually go with Wehrlein it's going to be quite the blow to Bottas IMO. Wehrlein didn't even outqualify Haryanto consistently, isn't exactly demonstrating to be world class material, has a now publically acknowledged attitude problem, already got rejected to the Force India seat in favor of Ocon who had driven like 4 races at that point. I still do not see anything out of the ordinary good in Wehrlein. He seems nowhere near mature enough to be driving for the best team.
Wehrlein is nowhere near Hamilton anyway. I don't think Bottas is either but I think he will at least come closer. If Merc is actually the fastest car again next year, its going to be like 15 Hamilton victories in one season.
Am I seriously just biased wearing my white and blue nationalism goggles, or what? Why would anyone in their right mind pick Wehrlein over Bottas?

Does he qualify for a Superlicence? 2016 he earned 20 points 2015 he earned 7 points 2014 he was in F1

He qualifies from the previous experience.

That system was implemented in 2014 or 2015. If you drove in F1 before that it don't matter

Does that mean they could chuck Lauda (or any other old driver) in a car?

Riccardo just removed his red-bull profile pic from facebook, and just uploaded a montage with a distinct lack of red bull cars, happening? why would he leave merc?
