for starters, electrics pollute more than gas vehicles. battery technology to this day is so shitty that you have to replace an electric vehicles batteries 2-3 times in its average lifetime, same lifetime as a gasoline car. that is a HUGE amount of battery pollution. even better? were running out of the materials to make batteries. even better better? over 85% of our power is still fossil fuel derived, so youre still charging the thing from oil or coal generated power.
