BOILING ACID!

>That filename
Took me a second but top kek

CAFFEINE WILL KILL YA!

I'm a genius.
NO. SEVERAL GENIUSES

Quads confirms Schumacher Batman films to be the best, Nolanbabbies completely, utterly, irrefutably, spiritually, literally, definitively, metaphorically, metaphysically BTFO forever.

Carrey's finest hour tbqh

SURFS UP BIG KAHUNA

how can marvel even compete

BTFO Forever starring Val Kilmer and Jim Carrey

They should have removed Robin and Two-Face from the film entirely, made Riddler the smooth-talking genius he should be instead of Joker 2.0, and the whole film should have been a cat-and-mouse game between the two of them

It could have been great, but holy shit what a mess

Notice how calm the people are in the background as Batman leaps through a courthouse.

Why was she so horny?

>she dates bruce who is a patient
>illegal in most states or enough to lose her license

HARVEY!
I'M BATMAN

even as a kid I realized this is NOT a decision batman would make

Those flying grayson costumes were kino. KINO!

How the fuck do you adopt a 23 year old man?

Nolanbats was a thrill seeker who didn't give a fuck about his parents.

You don't hafta. This film is the classic example of how a movie, has so many core characters, start losing the grip on its story. Each character has its moment to shine, but things really don't add up toward the end. It's a bit better than TV show, but less than flick though.

Who !? Poison Ivy !? She IS like bisexual though. You can't handle her sexual orientations eh !?

I just watched this today, and you know what, outside of two face, I enjoyed this movie.

It's better than BvS

That's one of my favorite parts of the movie honestly. If the choice is between Bruce giving up his identity or hundreds of people dying, he wouldn't hesitate.

Two face was the best part

HEY TWO FACE!

SHOW ME HOW TO PUNCH A GUY!

This Alfred had a fuckload of screen time

Batman and Robin is the one that people thoroughly shit on. This was average, felt like psuedo-Burton with neon paint.

I didn't hate it
I think Val Kilmer plays a great batman, it's just that the riddler and Two-Face are so cringy
Needed better villians

desu that was pretty cool

>Condoning such buffoonery

What the fuck was even two faces motivation? He just kept robbing shit.

I enjoyed the subplot paralleling Batman and Robins grief.

I completely agree with you about Two-Face though.

He wanted revenge. I guess he feels batman is responsible for his face getting burned because he didn't prevent it????

Yes but why become a bank robber

>I guess

at no point is this hinted at or stated in the entire film

>It's a "batman quits being batman over a woman" episode

I Know at one part in the movie that they needed start up money to get riddler's brain wave box produced?

You're not. New Sincerity (Vulgar Auteurism) will reevaluate this as a work of genius.

Comfiest Batman film

Just think, if this movie and Batman and Robin were even a tiny bit less silly the DCAU could have ended up being the DCEU.

Batman won by just throwing a batarang at the bad guys machine.

BABY

>What the fuck was even two faces motivation?

>One man is born a hero, his brother a coward. Babies starve, politicians grow fat. Holy men are martyred, and junkies grow legion. Why? Why, why, why, why, why? Luck! Blind, stupid, simple, doo-dah, clueless luck!

Life is arbitrary so get yours and fuck everyone else.
Not deep characterization but it does make sense.

I COMPARE YOU TO A KISS FROM A ROSE ON THE GREY

He straight up murdered two face at the end.

He has two personalities and one of them is fucked up and evil for no reason.

I actually thought this was the most watchable of the 90s Batman movies.

The Burton ones are overrated, like everything that asshole did.

89' was great. Returns was god-awful

>Hating classic Burton

Agreed

The scenes between Batman and Catwoman are excellent, everything else in Returns is horrendous

Catwoman had literally no motivation.

I just assumed it was brain damage from the fall

but he would know two-face would blow the place up anyway if he told

Why was there such a gap in quality between this and Batman and Robin?

they're both entertaining as fug

>not liking that version of the Penguin
Go from this place, and do not return.
(I mean I know he's all over the place but come on.)

Both Batman Returns and Batman & Robin have the same problem. After a solid first effort, the director lets their personal tastes encroach too much on their followup movie to the point where it doesn't even feel like Batman anymore.

pleb

Returns is thet 2nd best Bats movie after TDK

It's probably because I saw TAS before Returns, but I hated The Penguin being portrayed as a disgusting sewer-dwelling freak. I would have liked him shown as more sophisticated and subtle. He gets so much screen time that unless you really embrace him he ruins the movie

Schumacher handled Bane better than Nolan tbqh

This. But so is every other Batman film really.

If we had a live action Bane that looked like Shumacker's Bane but acted like Nolan's Bane it would have been perfect.

Disagree

Bruce, it's me, Barbra!

did you take a piss break? right after the scene where edward tosses the boss over the waterfall theres a scene of bruce watching CNN that says Dent blames batman for his acid damage

A FLOCK OF FRICKIN FREUDS

>SANCTION

nah that's Batman Returns

Clooney was the worst batman by a landslide

I miss the days of that being posted here everyday.
