Australia needs more Greeks.

You're probably joking but it might actually be true. We gotta dilute this Brit blood with more sun-resistant genetics

You're literally a penal colony, so I think that was the point

I never understood why so many foreigners have obscure Australian show images

Wear Islamic garments

Okay, so this might seem a bit ironic coming from me, a European person, considering our current situation with Middle Easterners and migrants - but have you ever thought about dressing like an Arab? I'm not joking.

You know, those loose clothes that cover the entire body? They're great against the sun and hot environments, they were invented for this very purpose. Arabs are basically just a bit darker Euros who live in the desert. They should be a lot more tanner than they are, but they aren't cause they had been use their clothing instead of developing black skin.

Or you can wear sunblock, a big hat, and a parasol every time you need to leave the house, but that might be a tad ridiculous.

they were against using African slaves, so had to settle this shithole with..well Aussie's

I use sunblock every day in summer. It's a bit shit but I still rate it over dressing like an arab

tfw gotta go out in the sun for a couple of hours in the morning. At least it's not the afternoon, of course the UV index will still be at extreme levels, like it always is. Lather on that sun protection lads.

I have thought about this numerous times and I have come to the same conclusion. We don't necessarily need to emulate sandnigger clothing exactly, but I do believe inspiration can be found in their dress that would be very practical in the Australian climate. Even simply loose-fitting clothing made out of the lightest possibly fabrics that cover the body would be an improvement.

I've thought about it (not it explicitly but that function of clothing). Every time I'm in the sun I can feel myself dying.

It doesn't protect you that well. Even 50+ SPF doesn't give that much protection. Cloth is way better. Shit, you need 50+ to go outside even when it's pouring rain, winter and very cloudy. Strong UVB is still going into your skin.

>yfw even the sun is assaulting the eternal anglo

Better than getting assaulted by the Japanese lmao

there is this, apparently fabrics and clothing specifically for sun protection. If we take those fabrics, make them affordable and design clothing around being good at covering the body (while not heating it up), then it would be great. If it were socially normalised (even popularised by celebrities, media, etc) then we would be able to lower skin cancer.

That's actually pretty smart of you user.

Yeah, I mean, you'll eventually have to deal with the harsh environment, you guys put it off long enough as it is. Unless you plan on abandoning the continent en masse and returning to Europe - which honestly, isn't a bad idea. You'd be welcome here.

wont your aussie friends call you a poofta or something

>You'd be welcome here. you'll eventually have to deal with the harsh environment, you guys put it off long enough as it is.
Tbqh we'd probably build a nuclear-powered nationwide air-conditionoing system or something ridiculous like that before adopting better clothing, kek.

probably, idc
just another thing i want to work on in the future lads

i reckon if you manage to avoid the image of middle eastern/muzzie then it could probably catch on. Affordability would probably be main thing though, $100+ hipster clothing won't go anywhere.

It would also need to be gradually introduced and by multiple brands. Any brand that starts out as the "next big thing" will never have any lasting power.
