what is it tho

nice, let's have a look!

Gym and fishing

collecting empty bottles

I can't. My work is too easy to trace

what do you do with them? display them?

I really wish I could

fit
i'm ugly but my body is 9/10

Collecting medieval arms and armor. Real medieval stuff, not larp replica's. Mostly grounddug stuff since the genuine well conserved stuff is hella expensive.

>Vidya
>Music
>Shitposting
The holy grail my bruh

What type of fishing do you prefer? Type of fish? Fly fishing for trout in rivers is my favorite.

that's fucking cool man! ever been to/heard of Higgins Armory Museum? They sadly closed down but the collection is being moved to the art museum, sadly they only have room to display a fraction of the collection at a time

good on ya m8

ha, same

none of those are hobbies

Vidya.

I used to draw semi-frequently and was apparently half-decent. Maybe one day I'll acquire the motivation to do something in that area again.

I do field recordings of interesting places.

Ehh, I live a passive life under me mum & da in the suburbs. There's not much to do here anyways.

Once I move, I'll need to make friends so I'll have to socialize and do new things. Maybe in the near future I'll pick up a few new things.

Sometimes art, mostly 3D modelling, never did enough to git gud though

is that a photo or that is computer generated?

Haven't been to the higgins armory yet. But we have a huge millitary museum here and our museum of ancient history has a nice collection. Its not the most decorative to display but its fascinating.

That's pretty interesting user. What led you to this hobby?

Pic related: South german 13th century mace head (had to crop for file size)

Computer generated, I used a program called Flame Painter.
Usually I work with Blender(it's free).

Bird watching

If I had to choose I would take the sea so yeah and I live in france so fish are different from yours I guess but take a look, this one is a real good catch

Forgot pic. This is like 7 or 8 years old, IIRC.

Nice!

Fuck that's cool, imagine the stories that shit could tell. Higgins has amazing stuff, armor and helmets from BC all the way through to when firearms rendered armor obsolete, and even up through 20th century with kevlar and flakjackets and whatnot. Pic is a siqq ancient gladiator helmet they have.

Thx and what about you show me some fish ?

Every time I see a flail or a mace I think they're so brutal. Swords and knives are babby tier and imagine cracked in the side of the head with a flail.

i used to do
archery, shooting with BB guns (cause german) and fishing and stuff,
but i moved into a big city for work, 2 years ago, now i can't do any of this,
so now it's just vidya, music, and browsing the interwebs...

I get drunk, watch baseball and play with my dick. Sometimes I do it all at once.

>What led you to this hobby?
well I'm a sound and acoustic engineer by trade, but i'm also /out/, so I eventually put the two together. all my gear was always studio stuff, and not especially portable, so I had to collect new stuff from scratch. started with a simple handheld recorder and over the years added and upgraded components until now I have a really sweet rig. it's waaay more rewarding than people might think.

Mining

It seems I don't have any on my phone. I must have uploaded them to the cloud an deleted them

who's your favorite payer to rub your dick to?

d-data mining?

Yeah that is why I like this hobby if this stuff could talk it would be fascinating. I have a warhammer/horsemans hammer that was fished out of the Danube river near Regensburg in Germany. I always wonder how it wound up there. Lost in battle, discarded or maybe some poor guy accidentally spilled his spaghetti and dropped it.

origami and papercraft (yes, we have a board for that)
it's not that I'm passionate about it but it's time consuming and requires a high degree of precision, this pleases the autism.

zcash and stuff

His name is Kris Bryant.

Yeah who the hell knows!
>spilled his spaghetti

Harper a cute

Paint

is that a fuel tank? fuck that looks nice m8

I do this too but it looks like you have way better gear!

What do you use friend? Got any clips?

If you don't do it already, get yourself in the Film Industry, I've seen engineers pay a fortune for wildtracks like this.

I've sold stuff to a couple people here and there (video games, films) but I've got all my stuff on youtube (it's just a hobby afterall, I have a day job) so I suspect people just steal them a lot of the time. Dunno.

Thanks man. Its from a newer harley..

Do you make significant profit? About how much in USD?

occasionally nice condensers when it's practical but usually pic related

i'll try and upload something

That's a cool recorder! 4channels for quad surround, you can do some pretty cool stuff with that!

here's a recent one - fairly poor quality and filtered for wind noise but the bird in the foreground is nice and clear.

I often slow birds down and make musical transcriptions of the songs.

vocaroo.com/i/s1R7csICxsss

it's fairly decent sound, but it's absolutely rock solid. I've dropped it 15 feet onto concrete and it was absolutely fine. I wouldn't want to take anything super delicate out so this is perfect.

That sounds sweet! Was this just setup on a tripod/stand or did you hold it? Also do you have a windmuff for it?

>slow birds down and make musical transcriptions of the songs
that's pretty fucking cool

Vocalizing a single word or phrase over and over again in my head

Fantasizing about what my life would be like to have ultimate control over time or being immortal

Procrastinating literally everything in my life to the point where there's no pusing further and it starts to fuck me up cause it's so very stressful

Picking my nose when I feel like nobody's watching me

Making beats with my teeth with right and left row beeing different instruments

Stare into the mirror for minutes straight

Preparing for cases of emergency

Cuddling with my gf

This was freestanding on some wooden decking. I do use a tripod but at the time was using it for a camera. I had a windmuff but lost it so I just use a glove lol

btw I love your Coyote recording, absolutely incredible.

Historical European Martial Arts

You can like shazaam movies to spot where they stole you. And sue them and here's the $$

that's so fucking interesting. I live now in Brazil I could finally find something to do. Please tell a site where to begin. How much $$$ for equipment?

...

You are sooo close to depression

I'm not the guy you replied to - but the handheld recorder I posted above is like £100 in the UK so not super loads, and it's definitely enough to get started with.

Zoom H2 if you want to search.

You know for a couple bucks you can pick up some craft fur and do a little sewing (find a youtube video or beg somebody to help you). It's work a lot better than a glove and is way way cheaper than a real windmuff! (pic related, a pair I made for my ribbon mics)
>btw I love your Coyote recording, absolutely incredible.
Thanks! It was a tough one, I was out there for three days trying to get that one but it worked-out beautifully.

Hmm idunno if that works for background ambience.

This has always fascinated me

Just listening to your stuff. Those coyotes are unsettling as fuck. How would i start doing this is it as simple as turning up someplace with a microphone?

what indicates that?

Building and painting Gundam plastic models

Landwhales are my hobby. As you can see, one is currently beached on my stressed bed

Masturbation

that's a great idea, but I can tell you for certain I will never get round to doing that - pretty busy in general and find it hard to make time

speaking of which i'm off to work - best of luck man, keep working

Your mom is a hobby of mine

I enjoy directing and writing terrible dialogue
Maybe we could all get together?

>Hmm idunno if that works for background ambience.
if it's possible for songs it is possible for ambient. This is an app to create, probably.

Please inform a site where I can begin to learn your hobby.

how many times do you smash?
ever thought about spreading her pics?

I play guitar, I get high and play vidya.

I also used to draw R34 stuff

Writing, collecting river glass and making figures out of it, badminton, cycling

You should find a club man, its the tits

hemaalliance.com/club-finders/

I started with a Tascam DR-40 (similar to what suggest but they have different features). Just a handheld recorder and a tripod (the handling noise is really bad with these things so you really need to set it down if you want to record for any period of time). It can be a much bigger cost over time to acquire gear, but don't be in a hurry. Handheld stereo recorder is fine, and gradually decide if you want external mics to record stereo or a shotgun mic for sound fx collecting, etc.

I would love to go on a recording trip in Brazil! I'm running out of wildlife that I haven't captured.

Eh, bit of research, make a plan, and then go do it. Sometimes you just go out for a couple hours and leave it recording while you wait quietly far away, sometimes I bring my stuff on campouts and record off to the side while we're making noise and fucking around, sometimes I have my handheld recorder in my bag and just hear something cool like woodpeckers or a weird echo in a pedestrian tunnel or something and just zap it on the spot.

For wildlife recordings you mostly need to get it at dusk, dawn, or at night. Some things are active during the day but for the most part it's off-hours. And you can't be nearby or your presence will screw it up, so you have to drop the recorder and leave it alone for awhile. I've sat alone in the middle of fucking nowhere dark forest at night for hours at a time listening to things tromping and crawling all around me while my recorder was a couple miles away doing its thing.

Here's a couple more that were fun times:

Already did. Available in Brazil! huehe.
Is it only a hobby for you? Is there something more?

3 a week usually. I escort fat girls in my free time. Don't usually take pics man. Sorry.

post a pic of river glass figure

>Please inform a site where I can begin to learn your hobby.
I don't really know brah. Check out wildlife sound recording society, field recording, general google searching of those words. Just remember if you want to record ambience, don't get duped into buying shotgun mics. You want to record in stereo and probably with cardioid or omni mics for that. If you want to focus on single sound FX then a shotgun is fine.

>I also used to draw R34 stuff

what kind of quality are we talking here?

Thanks mates. Will definitely look into that.

Touching myself?

What's your opinion about those "earth sounds : audible deep-pitched vibrations accompanying an earthquake that are probably caused by the transmission of earth vibrations to the air"

that question mark implies a degree of uncertaintly user.

I recently joined one and started studying Fiore. Lots of crossover with Meyer but a lot more weapons involved.

Also, I33 is the shit. Sword and Buckler is really smooth and comfy.

Eating other people's dogs
Sometimes the dogs are gross so it could just be constured as killing dogs.

Thanks for your response bro. I'm going to look into this. I like the idea of having an excuse to adventure around outdoors at night.

I like to buy nerf guns and modify/paint them into guns i see on tv or movies...don't you judge me.

idunno, everything like that's really cool. our hearing goes down to around 20Hz but there's not exact line, it just transitions from "hearing" perception to "tactile" perception. sadly for either hearing or feeling low frequencies they need to be super loud so we rarely experience them in the absence of high frequencies. any chance you have to hear/feel something like taht I say take it!

fun fax: the earth is emitting about 3Hz all the time but it's at a pretty low amplitude. some animals (elephants, whales perhaps) can probably hear it so they can potentially predict tectonic shifts, volcanic eruptions, and/or other terrestial disasters.

No prob man, good luck!

Yeah that's pretty much how I look at it †bh

Have you ever recorded something that could have been supernatural? Anything that freaked you out when you played it back?

>slow birds down and make musical transcriptions of the songs
An example?

Acoustic guitar, journaling, reading, general writing and occasionally MtG
