Arabs are J1
Ancient egyptians were e1b1b
Honestly that doesnt really look like an arab

Applying modern ethnonyms to ancient peoples is ahistorical and pointless

...

Wrong, Egyptians were not negroid but near eastern\egyptian.

You guys are actually right

Picrel is from a new study about ancient egypt

Basically is the Egyptians had more genetic affinity with the Levant until sometime after the Roman period where there was an increase in sub saharan african admixture.

Ancient Egyptians express affinity to "natufians" which were basically people from the southern levant, they also had some anatolian/iranian admixture

that's ydna, not autosomal

arabians existed at that time?, I think that mediterraneans would fit better

>then black
blacks were Nubians, native Egyptians were more like pic related

>and later white?
no, they weren't white (or northern Europeans, Sup Forums believes) at any time

Hmm true.
But Ancient Egyptians are much more closely related to Israelites and North Africans than they were to People from the Arabian peninsula (back then ,Arabs were limited to the peninsula and the middle east was occupied by other people).

>Honestly that doesnt really look like an arab
Arabs are diverse

But ancient Egyptians did the same thing.
>The most famous part of the Book of Gates today refers to the different races of humanity known to the Egyptians, dividing them up into four categories that are now conventionally labelled "Reth" (Egyptians), "Aamu" (Asiatics), "Themehu" (Libyans), and "Nehesu" (Nubians).

If you were wondering, “Reth” is the one on the far right.

Arab was the wrong term. Middle Eastern?

Yeah middle eastern would be a more accurate term, cuz back then the ancestors of modern day arabs were limited to within the arabian peninsula/ modern day saudi arabia.

>But Ancient Egyptians are much more closely related to Israelites and North Africans than they were to People from the Arabian peninsula
Well Egyptians even in there paintings look different from the Levant and "Libya"(the rest of north africa). I'm sure you've seen the picture with the 4 different races depicted by the egyptians.

In the study though Egyptians don't really group with North Africans or Levantines though which I think makes sense. They group with Natufians, who were basically the ancient people of the southern levant before they were displaced by modern Levantines

Thousands of years before they were invaded by Ar*bs, they were Arabian? OK m8

I am specifically talking about ancient Egyptians, modern ones are a mixture of the ancient egyptians and a bunch of other populations, including the original arabs from the peninsula.

They were really their own thing, but you can see the Natufians here, they are basically just southern pushed Levantines. Modern egyptians have more sub saharan ancestry

I'm talking about ancient ones, I'm trying to explain the recent study that was done.

see

you shit post this on /his/ all the time

Here is another image that is hard to make out

But we can see that the Ancient and Modern egyptians do not group together

The ancient egyptians overlap a lot with the Natfuians while the modern ones are pulled more towards the sub saharan populations

he is right though, it's not really a shitpost anymore

You need to stop learning genetics from Sup Forums. Those aren't fucking hex codes for skin colour.

You know they only tested West African DNA. They didn't test anything else.

>he is right though, it's not really a shitpost anymore

The post's on /his/ were based of of the boards posteriors autistic obsession with Hoteps (I assume they just "discovered" them like a 14 year odl discovers Sup Forums).

Alliterate any thread about Africa, Nubians or Egyptians was instantly ruined by these people. You can't have any topic about these people with their autism flaring up.

The ancient egyptians still group incredibly well with the Natufians, the R squared is such where you don't need to add anything to the model. Also the 20 percent increase in sub saharan ancestry in modern egyptians is self explanatory to where it's redundant

That wasn't me senpai

>his head is flat from carrying stones on it

You cannot fabricate these tales

Egyptians were brown people, not black.
Possibly berbers.
