not unless it's already a stray. College towns notoriously have lots of feral and stray cats because dumbass fuckers get a cute kitten and then abandon it when they graduate and move home. I fed a one-eyed feral cat that lived under our house my last year of college. He would wait for me to come back from class on the back porch, but I was never allowed to touch him.
