I can't get into KKB. I'm fine with happy music, but the entire thing feels so manufactured to me. Is that part of the point, like with PC Music?

Yes, I realize that Angelspit album has one of the worst covers ever. I went back to it for nostalgia recently and it has a few solid songs on it tbqh.

+OPN, The Books, Brand New
Rec: Clarence Clarity - No Now

+Swans, BoC, MBV, Joanna Newsom, lovesliescrushing
Rec: Asobi Seksu - Thursday

My bad, Thursday is an Asobi Seksu song - Citrus is the album.

Thanks, I really like No Now.
+Spiritualized, Autechre, Meddle

The angelspit cover isn't the worst cover art on your collage though

Taku Sugimoto & Moe Kamura - Saritote

it's very good the best prog album from this century
they are mostly a berlin school group but this one is different since it's a tribute to syd barrett
if you don't like prog a lot I recommend trying any of their other albums I'm a big fan I've listened to like 30 of them

Yep. That's the one. I didn't notice the other one. I do like prog though, so I'll give it a shot.

MUHHHHHH MAC DEMARCO!!!

Likes to go running.
Drives at max speed, but in a slightly shitty car. Dreams of owning a muscle car.
Goes to cons, refuses to admit he might like anime a bit too much.

never been to a con but probably right about the anime part lmao. huge props on BATS that album kicks ass. whats the album to the left of Nonagon?

Glassjaw - Worship & Tribute
Kinoko Teikoku - Eureka/The Long Goodbye EP

>whats the album to the left of Nonagon
Levitation Room - Ethos

What did you all think of the new grizzly bear? I only listened to Neighbors and I was pretty ho-hum about it.

I thought it was pretty great actually. I've loved every Grizzly Bear album though. Neighbors sounds better in the context of the album IMO. All of the singles do.

Neat, I am glad to hear it. A lot of their stuff is solid even some of the corny stuff from Department of Eagles

I don't listen to much prog rock, do you recommend any prog albums with a lot of synths in it? I've pretty much only listened to that, a bit of ELP and Mandrake.

Yes' Fragile gets real synth-based at times, it's a good one, too.

Yes I like Bal-Sagoth
