Album cover art ratio isn't 1:1

>album cover art ratio isn't 1:1

what is 1:1
would you mind to explain?

Use your brain cumdick

Ratio. For example your sceen's ratio is 16:9 because you're likely using a 1920:1080 monitor.
1:1 means square.

It annoys me as well but it's nice sometimes.

>1200x1199

Actually I prefer it because squares aren't aesthetic at all.

>art
You mean cover? If the product isn't square than the cover won't be either. If you want it square just crop it.

this

squares are worst form

>album cover isn't 1x1 pixel

Big fan of the rapant misuse of the word aesthetic in attempts to look smart by idiots.

i wouldn't care if it weren't for the fact that most music software is made to only accept square artwork, so nonsquare artwork is kind of a deliberate act of rebellion and it's just kinda gay

>what are cassettes

>1200x1200
>less than 100 kb

Black metal is the only genre still releasing casettes as far as I know.

Get with the times, man. Cassettes are popular right now and have been for a few years.

>can't find good quality cover art in at least 600x600
>delete album

>Sup Forums still doesn't know the objectively best way to find high quality covers

google

Enjoy your low filesize artifacts.

share your knowledge with me o wise one

Looking up whatever issue of the album you have ripped on Discogs and using the art for said issue is the only way to do it and if you do anything else you are a pleb who cannot tag music.

Dude cassette is having a comeback. Especially with V A P O R W A V E

>discogs
Enjoy your phone cam cover.
search album on slsk, filter by .jpg download different files and compare them.

Enjoy your objectively incorrect tags

ftv? aae?

>Tfw embedded album covers

If possible I crop or extend it. Esp cover arts that has a very simple background to the borders, I just fill that up with Photoshops content aware function.
