This is really good
What the fuck is this?
Reminds me a lot of Alvin Lucier or a more monotonous Gyorgy Ligeti. I like the style but probably wouldn't sit through Jupiters Cross unless I'm confronting a candle in deep meditation. So great headphone chill out music.
Nice Tumblr image loser

Did you take the artwork photos yourself?
Really cool stuff, I'm new to these threads and I'll definitely be back for more.
>Did you take the artwork photos yourself?
yep, just on a cheap kodak prostar 222
I took my pic in a truck.
bump
Some harsh feedback before I bump my own trash here
I appreciate the thought and effort, but the tracks sound the same, there's no real and noticeable progression and the textures aren't too unique or interesting, if someone showed this to me I would say it's Bull of Heaven. At least it doesn't clip and it isn't earrape nonsense like one would expect from a blank-Bandcamp experimental artist.
I suggest you to put some pulp, something truly awesome in the music itself that catches the listener off guard, besides the context
I was really hoping for something good, but what I hear is cheap midi instruments that are clipping
As for the rest, some are really good (Forward Movement), some aren't (How The Mighty Have Fallen), but I can hear some sense of amateurism in each of them, or maybe it's the header.jpeg made in paint that makes me a bit biased.
In terms of production, it sounds like when a YouTuber starts to make comedy music, except it's a bit more entertaining. The songwriting is good and funny, I can't say much about the singing and your playing, it's okay.
I would say this is the best ambient in this thread. It's subtle enough, isn't boring, wide variety of instruments/field sounds. More artists should follow this sound. You could put a bit more pianos and synths in though (maybe get a mellotron :^), guitar is overused when it comes to this type of music (sadly I do the same though). For example there's Epiglottis, who often makes music where it's hard to even recognise the instrument.
Best shoegaze ITT, my only complaint is the drums are so low in the mix

orphic wren here. thanks a lot for the feedback and compliments, I appreciate it. I definitely feel you on trying to obscure the source of the sound, I'll try focus on that more. thanks again :)
>> two tapes
>> bones is more experimental
>> grief produced exclusively by Greaf
Likewise! I dig the acient feel theme and the music sounds like MoonDog or Harry Partch at times, but in terms of composition a bit too tame or too folkish for me. But thats just a matter of taste.
