Autistic shit you do regarding music

If a song makes reference to a certain day of the week, I literally can't listen to it at another time.
In the same way, I can't listen to a song that refers to good weather during bad weather and vice versa.

CLUB GOIN UP ON A TUESDAY

On the rare occasion that i find infestations of ants or spiders or some shit in my house, i have to stop what im listening to in order to kill them. If i dont then i always associate that album with a colony of ants that i massacred and i feel bad when i listen to it.

I share music with people who I consider friends, always hoping they will like it and will understand it and like it, love it, as much as I do and then, let that music reveal more about me, so they also understand me better, as the pain and suffereing that is expressed in the music I love is the one that I feel daily.
Yet naturally it never works. I can't connect with anyone, no one wants to talk about music.
I guess I need to get used to, to being alone

I use folders for different genres and subgenres, and I break up discogs if the artist has created albums in different genres

i violently dance like a mix between ian curtis and that guy from future islands when i am alone i scream and go between punching and kicking the air and moving my body to the beat

This. If I'm lucky, the best I'll get is a "yeah it's good" before it's completely forgotten.

I guess this is normies not taking music seriously as they take their TV shows and movies and what not, it is pretty painful not being able connect with anyone in real lif through music.

If I get really into a musician I want to find out everything about them. If they don't do enough interviews then I check through their previous projects and try to find their old social media accounts.

Well, I think that's kinda the same as expecting someone to know you and understand through a painting or picture...

i only listen to black metal during the late autumn/ winter months

that's not weird that's trve cvlt as fuck

Do you do the same thing everytime you eat a hamburger too?

I put ("waste") time on tagging songs, adding cover pictures, putting lyrics and fix them (this means, listen carefully to the full songs as needed, every album or release) < all according to with my terms

a while back,I'd sing in public but, only the vocal harmonies

Because of this phenomenon I associate Bjork with the taste of peanut butter.

I spend way too much time going through RYM lists and dowloading every single item in Soulseek. I have like 5k albums in my backlog, and instead of going through it I keep downloading more.

I nod my head to literally everything
If there's music playing, my head is moving

Vegans are like termites. Constantly coming out of the woodwork and ruining things, and a pest to be exterminated.

Vegans should be ground up and used as fertilizer for their precious plants. Then again, the lack of nutrients in their body from such a shit diet would make for poor fertilizer.

Nope, why would I?

I use to fantasize about showing someone or some people a song I love, and imagining their reactions like "wow, this is so fucking good" etc. I don't know why but I care a LOT about what music people around me enjoys, and of course most of the time they don't agree with me at all and I get the "wtf user turn this shit off, can we listen to some normal music pls"

this, I deleted all of my shit recently and I'm starting over

Well, seeing as the atrocities of the meat industry are far worse than anything you could possibly being doing to the pests in your home, I just thought you would want to avoid associating the suffering required for you to eat your food with your favorite music

What about the atrocities of the computer and smartphone hardware industry? :^-)

and i got the problem where too many mfs wanna talk about music

I guess it really is the vibe you give off that takes your life in so many directions

Every time I download an album I manually edit all the songs comment fields with the nationality of the artist.

Only so that I can sort my whole archive by nationality in foobar200.

It's possible to sustain an entirely plant based diet, without making any actual sacrifices. The only reason people don't is because they've never taken the time to consider what they are doing :o)

You will never be able to listen to this then.

>I guess it really is the vibe you give off that takes your life in so many directions
I wish I knew, I have no idea what I do/say will come off as, I'm kinda diagnosed with high functioning autims so that may be that, I have no idea how people will react to anything I do.

Oh goodness, how horrific! user, thank you for cluing me in on the ethnically reprehensible, vile practices of the meat industry. You have truly changed my perspective on things, I would even go so far as to say that you enlightened me! I'm taking this to the streets! I'll be damned if I'm going to let another animal suffer at the hands of an evil human!

What about the atrocities of agriculture that are destroying the environment? How about the fact that it is completely unsustainable?

I'm glad to here that. I'm sure there are some local vegan groups and events that you can find online if you want other to help with your fight

Oh! you mean the plants that are grown to feed to animals? Seeing as it takes 10 plant calories to produce a single calorie of meat it would be far more efficient to just eat the plants don't you think?

I actually listen carefully to music and form a concrete opinion on it that I can back up with specific examples and analysis of the music.

To be clear I don't find this autistic but everyone else on Sup Forums seems to.

If I really like I song I sometimes listen to it over and over again while walking in a circle around the room.

I spend the majority of my free time steeped in music listening and discovery, but I have bad ADHD and my retention of lyrics is horrendous. I respond to literally any song I am familiar with by humming melodic parts, accompanied by tics in my hands and neck. With further degrees of familiarity I begin to mouth the lyrics; with music I love I'm at my worst, straight singing or rapping to mouth sounds instead of actual words.

I can barely control it and it makes me a good bit self conscious, e.g. at live shows people have whipped around and grimaced towards me. I'm far from being tone deaf and have always had a good sense of rhythm, but its arresting for onlookers to see a scruffy jew(me) clicking his head and gesticulating while crawking along like an on-key parrot.

I wish I could hold onto lyrics outside of the chorus, especially with rap and singer-songwriter stuff :(

Get fucked, you sanctimonious half-wit.

I tried to make the songs on an album have the same number of 'Plays', so if I'm hearing at Random I skip the song just atthe last second so it doesn't count as 'Play'

I feel bad when I have more "plays" on albums that are less acclaimed/respected than on albums that are loved by Sup Forums or are seen as classics.
I feel bad for having a taste that isn't all that popular when it comes to band's discography. Usually when band drops in popularity I like their albums/music more rather than what most assumed to be their "peak", and I feel really bad about that for some reason.

But isn't it better to be able to tell your favourite songs of all your albums at a quick glance?

>listen to a song
>imagine traditionally animating a video for it all by myself

Usually Black Flag does this to me.

thanks for offering your concern user, but don't worry I get sufficient quantities of B12, iron, zinc and calcium quite easily

>come to Sup Forums expecting music
>check catalog
>frog threads EVERYWHERE

Stupid unlucky frogposters.

Oh how quaint, you even have a little picture of your vegan pills at the ready and everything.

What processes do you think are involved in the making of those pills?

>inb4 cognitive dissonance

GET OUT

GET OOOOOOOOOOUT

FAIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

...

fucking CHECKED

look at that baka

dumb cirno poster

it mostly involves combining rocks together, but some of the vitamins, like b12, are sourced from fermenting bacteria, where as others are sourced from various plants

BAKA BAKA

I download whole albums even if i just wanna listen to one song. I cant stand not having whole albums.

Cirno wins again!

I close my door so my family doesn't try to exorcise me, I stand in front of my computer so I don't pull the headphones cable, then I lock all my muscles together and POWER UP RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHH like I'M ALEX FREAKING JONES GOING SUPER SAIYAN AND I FUCKING BLAST ENERGY OUT OF MY BODY LIKE A SPIRIT BOMB BECAUSE I'M CREATING MORE THAN I CAN HOLD AND IT REALLY FUCKING HURTS AND GIVES ME LEG CRAMPS BUT I TOUGH THROUGH IT UNTIL THE SONG FUCKING ENDS CAUSE THE UNIVERSE NEEDS ME TO DO IT WHEN NO ONE ELSE WIIIIIIILLLLL

No, it need to have the same number of plays!

How do you deal with play lists? Do you just not listen to play lists at all?

muddafuka

don't feel bad I think about this all the time too. I know it won't ever go well with the shit I listen to, but it's ok to fantasize while im walking.

Is this actual autism?

me too. pic related

As I said before, I change the song at the last moment

>have best friend who is the only person who regularly enjoys the weird music you show him (but still doesn't like some of it)
>show him new band you found that you're obsessed with
>he loves it and turns up the volume

i listen to loveless every night

my starred playlist on spotify needs to look like this, otherwise i'll go crazy. when i add 2 or more new songs by the same artist they need to go together and also be in sets of even numbers, possibly next to other sets of 2/4/6 songs by another artist. when i add a certain number of single songs by multiple other artists, they can go with each other.

yeah, time to get diagnosed i guess

I randomly get a boner if i listen to a new song and like it
I'm i fucked up?

Grimespost.

I'm sorry.

>Always want to do this
>user says it doesn't work
Well shit

>Don't listen to single songs before hearing the whole album
>Saving albums for certain aesthetics, like city pop at night

>"Veganism is a perfectly healthy and natural way to live"
>"But I need a medicine cabinet to go with every meal"

>2 pills a day
>one of which is a multivitamin that everyone should be taking anyway

>All natural
>Needs man made pills
Hmm

yahmerro

It's no less natural then selecting a piece of meat off of a refrigerated wall at the grocery store my good fella

be my bf

This shit gets me. Music has become such an integral part of my day to day life that it baffles me when people claim to like music but take no interest in searching for something new or exploring the absolute vast, endless catalog of material out there.

All my friends will only listen to the charts, singles or songs from video games.

>"Dude have you heard of New Order?"
>Genuinely shocked they bring up New Order
>Find out they just like that one song from the MGS V trailer and put it on loop for hours until they get sick of it and never listen to it again

That just seems like such a childish way to listen to music, as wanky and pretentious as that sounds.

New Order was in MGS? What songp

I air guitar all the time. Alone, in public, when I'm walking down the street, in the 7/11.
I own that shit, even though I don't actually know how to play guitar. Apparently I do a pretty convincing impression, though.

this but more like thom yorke

I autistically binge listen to my top 10 favorite albums at the end of every season

what's the last musician you've done this for?

alcohol helps a lot when in person

when me and one of my friends get drunk we talk about music a lot and it's very nice
