thanks for the comment in the other thread. "undois" is actually an old record we've just release recently. gonna listen to your stuff.
What is Post Nightcore and what differentiates it from normal nightcore?
mcraigculbertson.bandcamp.com
>plunderphonics, concept albums, experimental loops and beats
Nightcore just pitch shifts a song a tiny bit to make it sound like its being sung by an anime babe. Not too much involved other then that. Barely even speeds it up
Post-Nightcore pokes fun at nightcore by taking the same concept and actually pushing it farther. It involved speeding up samples to higher amounts, chops up choruses and verses, looping, ect. It also takes samples from songs that wouldnt originally fit in the nightcore formula. A decent term for it is reverse vaporwave but i honestly hate saying that.
Brilliant
Stop forcing it into a meme

>haHAA i'll just dump 30 different tracks in audacity, repeat the process 100 times and call it a concept album
It's like Bull of Heaven, but less creativity and humour
I like the rawness of it, it's the type of music I'd listen to on my cassette deck if I had one
>i'll just dump 30 different tracks in audacity,
I don't know what to say other than telling you that every sound was specifically designed or selected and placed deliberately. I wonder what it sounds like to everyone else.

enjoyed listening to this, drummer's real tight
I don't normally listen to "choose your own adventure" albums, but the variety's here for sure
Reminds me of the music from VA-11 Hall-A. Had a friend that played a lot of clarinet, but I take it you didn't want to overuse it on here
Thanks dudes. Working on the EP as we speak!

decided to give this the benefit of the doubt because my second favorite album of the year is something similar to whatever post-nightcore is. heard pot of greed, i didn't like how i could instantly recognize the source material, but otherwise i liked what you did with it to an extent. was p nice. outside of the first minute, jam breeding machine was pretty cool too, although the overly high pitched voice did irritate me a little. shit, i'm gonna have to look into this post-nightcore scene stuff eventually huh

sonic bliss inbound...
aim high! i like that! you guys are plenty young and have plenty of time to kick all sorts of ass!
Thanks DP
In all seriousness, this is really good. We need young dudes putting in hard work, starting a band and wanting to revive the guitar band.
I mean, you guys are only 16 so don't take this as being harsh. Continue to develop your sound, you guys have a knack for melody which could develop further. Also focus on improving your production. Switch from GB to ableton, get some mastering vsts and you are set to start exploring your sound further.
lol eat a dick bro

dude my band is already at the top of our game so stfu and sit down

I wasn't being rude, I just think you need better mastering. Don't get me wrong, the talent is there certainly!

lol
Great thread, you guys!

I really love the vocals on this whole album, she has a very ethereal sadness to her voice. I think I heard you on Manchester radio a few months back.
This is a great sound for just starting out. Keep developing your songcraft. You guys have a lot of talent.
>very spacey sound dude! i dig this!
Thank you!
Lovin' this, always pumped for good new vaporwave
Always rec'd. Great shit.
Not my kind of thing but very interesting mix of sounds going on here, like post-punk ideology put into a pop-punk band. Very weird, in a good way.
Very cool.
