Does he need the Warriors more than the Warriors need him?

Does he need the Warriors more than the Warriors need him?

He needs the Warriors to compete against LeBeta's superteam. The Warriors need him to cuck LeBeta. It is simbiotic

Yes
He wouldn't be able to ride the beach on any other team and win by 25+ points

He needs a ring

He turned down significant potential money in Oklahoma because he assumed he'd make more from endorsements once he had a ring

Every sports commentator from Stephen A Smith to Shannon Sharpe has said that without KD the Warriors get no ring

The only person who disagree is Cowherd

Honestly in a way he still hasn't quite found his role in the Warriors offense. He's more prone to playing isoball (though he is good at it) than what the system requires

I wonder if he'll ever fully fit in.

He should consider joining a team in the offseason that caters more to his playing style than him forcing himself to play a style he doesn't like. The system SHOULD be him, not the other way around

You ever think he'll look back and think "damn, I missed out on $82 million?"

He clears the Snakebite confidence wise, but in terms of pure team skill he's not needed.

Warriors don't need him. They got 3 all-stars. Durant is desperate for a ring. Why else would he chose them? If it honestly wasn't about that he'd either stay with OKC or find a solid team to work with to build himself up. The fact he chose Warriors shows that he is weak and needs to ring chase

Well that's because they gutted most of their bench. It's not surprising.

Then why get him? Just so he doesn't play for the Thunder?

Didn't he join the Warriors so he COULD be part of their offense?

he's the most efficent offensive player on the warriors though (other than javale lmao)

the thing is that the warriors are just so crazy good offensively anyways that the difference is negligible, and he's pretty good defensively too

Wouldn't it make more sense just reworking the offense around KD, especially in a contract year?

their bench is statistically the 2nd best in the league after san antonio, and anyone in the league's bench is gonna have an advantage vs cleveland

LeBron went to a team with the other top 10 players in the league because he choked against Bawstan. Is LeBron weak as well?

I don't think they should rework anything considering they had the highest offensive rating in history this year even with klay & curry's "down year" they actually got better on offense.

Whatever he missed in OKC is gonna get trumped by whatever he can possibly get in the Bay Area. The Warriors are up there with the Lakers as far as team value goes and they're getting a new stadium in 2 years.

Why? They have the best offense in the league. Durant's real purpose is to stop LeBron as LeBron can't guard Durant unlike Barnes and Durant can guard LeBron unlike Barnes. If the Cavs can't double guard Curry the have 0 chance against the Warriors and with KD it would be retarded to double guard Curry

KD is used to more of an isolation system. His full potential is when he has a high usage rate and gets the 1 on 1

He's not Harrison Barnes. He needs to be the system to get his full potential

>Lebron can't guard Durant

I don't think you have really watched them play over the years

He really can't currently. And Durant has above average offensive numbers against LeBron. LeBron was just always in a better team in which he could exploit others weaknesses

The Warriors need Durant in order to beat Cleveland 4 times, it's simple as that.

Tell Warrior fans that

They need KD more than he needs them

They need to rework their offense around him

KD is the best player

The offense should run through him. And the Warriors need him more than vice versa. KD has a gravity that draws defenders that Curry does not

Why? Didn't he join the Warriors so he could be in THEIR system?

>Then why get him? Just so he doesn't play for the Thunder?

You guys are so bluepilled.
Durant is a weak-minded beta momma's boy. He is easily manipulated but extremely talented. He's basically an autistic savant.
People forget that Durant's Thunder had the Warriors down 3-1, and those games weren't close, they were fucking destroying them.
That's when the recruiting started.
Warriors started buddying up with Durant, putting ideas that in Cali he'd finally find the life he wanted, would finally be able to find a girlfriend, et cetera.
The rest is history, Durant intentionally jobs the conference finals, then misleads the Thunder front office into believing that he will stay, waits until the trade deadline passes, then leaves the Thunder, ensuring that they will get nothing.
Golden State never needed KD. It was all about weakening the Western conference so that they wouldn't have to compete. Dark millennial days for the NBA.

yes. the Decision as a bitch move and so was KD going to Golden State
