It's a tie between Disorder and Atmosphere for me.

The one where he's depressed and wants to kill himself

so you've never listened to, or understood joy division then I take it?

Isolation

>Mother I tried please believe me
>I'm doing the best that I can
>I'm ashamed of the things I've been put through
>I'm ashamed of the person I am

Half of me agrees the other half wants you to delete this right now

>delete this right now
Why tho

>implying Joy Division has good lyrics

The Eternal for sure

This

She's lost cpntrol

agreed

All of them

...

Digital

Every song on unknown pleasures.

All of them

Twenty Four Hours
Disorder
Ceremony

>tfw you'll never hear a complete studio recording with Ian Curtis' vocals of Ceremony

Joy Division is one of those bands that has incredible lyrics but the songs are just completely not my thing like Ian's voice just doesn't work for me it sucks cuz I want to like them more

Interzone

Sucks man, JD is so soul-fulfilling. Ian was a brilliant poet and the band was genius with their instrumentation

TOO BUSY SUCKIN ON MY DING DONG

>I walked upon the edge of no return and laughed
>I've lost control

>i've been waiting for a guy to come and take me by the hand

Obvious answer but Day of the Lords is pretty phenomenal in my opinion.

>Withdrawal pain is hard, it can do you right in
>So distorted and thin, distorted and thin
>Where will it end? Where will it end?
>This is the car at the edge of the road
>There's nothing disturbed, all the windows are closed
>I guess you were right, when we talked in the heat
>There's no room for the weak, no room for the weak

New Dawn Fades
Beautiful article
It's better like this. It's part of the beauty of the song

>Just for one moment, thought I'd found my way
>Destiny unfolded, I watched it slip away

Digital

as simple as the lyrics are, Ian's way of injecting them with desperation and excitement was unique and intense, especially seen live

New Order's 12" version is perfect. You couldn't ask for anything more

>New Dawn Fades
this.
>I'VE WALKED ON WATER RUN THROUGH FIRE, CAN'T SEEM TO FEEL IT ANYMOOOOREE

>just for one moment, I heard somebody call
>look beyond the day at hand, there's nothing there at all

24 Hours is the best JD song

...

Brahs

Yeah that one.

Because he has severe autism.

>who is right, who can tell, and who gives a damn right now

>I got the spirit, but lose the feeling
>feeling

cavonabre had the best lyrics to sing to

The lyrics combined with the alternating slow then fast verses give it such a sense of nervous tension.

Candidate, duh

Which album is that from?

>Existence well what does it matter?
>I exist on the best terms I can.
>The past is now part of my future,
>The present is well out of hand.

Transmission, imo
