Think the only ones who need it are spain and portugal

In Norway nobody have it because we only need heaters not aircons. But in continental europe they have aircons everywhere, at least in the south.

I live in the south and I install air conditionners at my work, all I can say is that it has been really booming lately, lots of people want it

My dad says that he was younger real heat lasted only 2 weeks, and we bothered to buy AC for only that.
Now it can last for 2 months.

These are typically inefficient, ancient and smell like mold and disease. I'm glad this central design is abandoned.

many do, but they're expensive and not everyone can justify their cost.

in later though they got much cheaper and more efficient so many people are installing/replacing them.
