The problem is that this is really about as good as dubstep gets. Some of his other stuff is worth checking out however.
Volor Flex did Burial better than Burial.
ghost hardware is next level. whole album is incredible
youll find no dubstep better than burial, only as good
burial invented dubstep
are you retarded? he's not even one of the biggest figures of dubstep, too enigmatic to be that
>he's not even one of the biggest figures of dubstep, too enigmatic to be that
that doesnt mean he wasn't the first to do it
burial isn't dubstep he's uk garage at best
defining a genre by its fucking bpm and drum pattern instead of how it sounds is retarded

Thank me later.
so are you going to neglect digital mystikz, rusko, benga, and horsepower productions?
this desu
Burial is what a young man's memory of 90s drum'n'bass, garage, and breakbeat sounds like.
It's enormously pleasurable that that overlaps with the dubstep genre.
This sounds like a mediocre Soundcloud EDM producer trying to ape Burial's aesthetic. And what do you know, it is.
Still better than anything Burial has put out in the last six years.
Get into Four Tet and Andy Stott

faith in strangers is 10/10
This is one of the best dubstep releases to come out in the last few years

not as atmospheric as burial, but nobody else comes close to that style
not a huge fan of rusko but the others there are essentials
100%
...
I can't disagree with that desu. It seems like this style may just be destined to die.
Never could get into this. Sounds like licking lips.
nope.
burial is a long way from inventing dubstep, although he was key in it's revival.
i like this track: getsome.bandcamp.com
also this is fucking LIT. chur
sorry but dubstep is dead
Obscure artists are not better than well known ones just for being less known.
Ghostek is even closer I guess (in terms of drum patterns and vibe).

>Holy shit, I didn't know dubstep could be THIS good
not even fucking dubstep, influences are there but its got a proper UKG/future garage vibe as well with a lot of ambient shit goin on
>The problem is that this is really about as good as dubstep gets
ngh
>youll find no dubstep better than burial, only as good
egh
not dead, but not really doing anything new anymore tbf, but the scene is still alive
i just love how anyone who listens to burial for the first time is instantly a dubstep expert
are you a woman? I feel like you'd have to be to make such an annoying, passive-aggressive post
i have a gf

Pure garbage desu. He using all burial's cliches and doesn't add anything by himself. Even sampling the same song as in Archangel
this one is decent tho.
How is untrue still so popular when streethalo/kindred exists?
skindred isnt dubstep though they're reggae metal
Rockism.
you forgot Rival Dealer
Kek, i actually used to like one of their songs when i was like 14. Bout to relisten and see just how bad it really was.
Listen to Caspa Russo fabricmix then
Beachfires aside, the singles/eps have all been better than the albums imo. Ashtray wasp is just peak feels and atmosphere though.
Yeah i forgot about all those tasty solos and riffs on untrue
this, someone who likes burial should be able to get into this stuff
