This is very well produced and mixed, I really love that oldschool synthesiser aesthetic, like Belbury Poly or the Plantasia album. I felt a little mixed on the vocals at first (I'm biased, I tend to prefer that analogue synth aesthetic to feel as synthesised as possible) but the vocal melody and the mixing is very good that I can't fault the music for it. Plus, I like how the track Baby slowly progresses. Lost/Lust reminds me a little of Talk Talk too which is a very good feel. Also I really dig the album artwork - I know that's not music related but it always helps. Really good work, OP. Wish I had some money to give you but I'm broke as shit. Very strong recommendation. Will share on my personal Facebook.
Strong recc, loved your music from a previous thread. Reminds me of Murmuüre as well as Merzbow and Ramleh.
Good fuzzy summer vibes, reminds me of Wavves but a lot more relaxing. A good ear for sweet guitar and vocal melodies. Very nice, dude, like the sort of music you'd want to wake up to early in the morning

Any feedback is appreciated, willing to return feedback too. Thank you for listening!
Dude, thanks for that. It seems the biggest complaints are: vocal volume and song structure. I personally went with quieter vocals as I find if you boost vocals too much on electronic songs it looses the whole aesthetic and soundscape. Very appreciative of you sharing the stuff!
Share your shit here and I'll give a listen.
Didn't see link ayyy, listening now
Nice display of various production techniques. Comes across to me very Boards of Canada-like. Need something to jump out and grab me tho...hooks, vocals or maybe it's a basic structure/dynamics issue. Like it tho, gonna listen to more later.
Thanks, user, Boards of Canada comparison is very flattering. I've been told some vocals would work well with my music but I don't know many people so I kinda just do my thing. Thanks for listening, and all the best
>Murmuüre as well as Merzbow and Ramleh

Thanks, user. I've listened to your stuff before in previous threads, very blackgaze and the piano is a nice touch. Much respect to one-man black metal bands.

stop doing atmoshit, you're bad at it
ok
don't just say ok, delete that account
Don't listen to this guy Your stuff sounds a bit like Paysage D'hiver. It'd be nice to have some slower riffs and more focus on haunting soundscapes that gradually build into a lo-fi black metal tune but overall it's pretty cool, dude
No it fucking doesn't.
Paysage D'Hiver has evil chord progressions, not just "sad" chord progressions. Paysage d'Hiver has epic and dark atmospheres, not just dreamy atmospheres. Paysage dHiver doesn't have mixing that horrendous. Paysage d'Hiver doesn't have gay-ass song titles. Paysage d'Hiver doesn't drown out everything under a screechy guitar that does a shit job of mirroring the harmonies of the other instruments. Paysage d'Hiver isn't atmoshit it's atmoblack.
This is not "pretty cool".

Only one track done so far but the two of us are planning a separate LP before moving on to more noisy stuff.
No he isn't
To each their own but I don't see you being constructive. Telling him to just delete the account isn't going to help a musician improve.
I don't want him to improve so much as I just want him to stop putting bad music on the internet.
Good atmospheric black metal is easy to find. Good music in general is easy to find. We don't need more of it. However, we need less bad music.
I outlined everything Paysage d'Hiver does right, which he does wrong.
The only way I could be more constructive would be by writing songs for him. But would it really help him improve skillwise?
Same can be said about every genre. We all know we're not perfect and there will always be a band better in every aspect, but releasing and promoting music is a therapy rather than an attempt to become successful for lot of us

You’re bad at midi odds stop doing it ;)
You should've read the Info about the album, these tracks are from 2013-2014 when I first started, I don't even use MIDI anymore. I stopped it about 2.5 years ago, Jackass.
good stuff tight stuff, I recommend
great album cover, fav song "principles"
listened to war trauma a few times :)
what's that walt disney quote?...
janky
i think this music deserves the amount of supporters it has which is to say good work. you want war though? :s
album art is nice but totally unfitting. i don't like the lyrics, i guess that makes me a pussy
good improv drums, good creative energy
this is creative, i like stardust most maybe

i like laugh track
It was joke, one of the earlier posters said the same thing about a genre I also didn’t but understand
So why are you posting it?
I wasn't just going to delete these old tracks. So I put them online. I don't think any form of creativity should just be straight up discarded, no matter how bad it is.
