Is there a more versatile guitar out there?

For the love of me I would kill for someone tabbing >grant green - love on a two way street
Im kind of new to jazz and im trying to transcribe it by ears myself but I'm not that good yet. There's also the weird way grant green do the double stroke notes and theres a lot of small beautiful slides.
Any bro can help me? The song is not even on youtube for me
Dylan Phillips
Have you tried "transcribe" the software? There's a working torrent of it

Nope but i'll try it at home. Im selling firs right now and im stuck in a campingcar with an oil stove and my guit. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah you can slow it down to 10% speed if you want, it doesn't distort too bad. That song isn't hard you should be able to figure it out, you'll benefit greatly figuring some stuff on your own.

Boys, anyone have a mid to high end multieffects board? Just got rid of 6 pedals and I'm looking to replace them with a big digital floorboard.l, currently looking at the boss gt100 or line 6 pod 500hd. >inb4 line6 I don't want to spend more than $300 and the pooper of the line 6 is really enticing, as well as the sheer amount of effects. Anyone have any experience?

I remember watching Bill and Ted's excellent adventure in the theatre and lost me shit when I hear Do You Wanna Play (With Me)
Been a huge Extreme fan ever since. Saw them a few years back during the Pornograffitti tour
Joseph Jenkins
Fuck yeah man, can't wait to hear their new stuff. Nuno's been my favorite guitarist for a while now, his tone, phrasing and attack are just so unique. I knew play with me from Bill and Ted but it wasn't til the 80s rock guitar hero that I just became blown away by the solo and really all the guitar parts. Extreme were leagues ahead of their counterparts and were unfairly lumped into the hair metal genre by the label and media and their hit ballad, just like Mr. Big but were truly on another level. Every single one of his solos is incredible.

Im ok with that. the software looks pretty easy to use. As long as there's a lot to choose from and tweak and plenty of footswitches to assign.

Listen to my weak, slow, practice version of He-Man Woman Hater
Because /gg/ attracts so many third world autismos who haven't gotten the memo on guitar yet. Luxxfag will keep sperging until he catches my attention and the I'll torture him for a few months until he throws in the towel and rage quits.
This is the /gg/ cycle.

80% of a five string user again
>have 4 working strings on a 5 string bass >sounds good, everything works, replacement strings and tuning head on the way >setup isn't right because a string is missing so everything buzzes slightly with any imperfect fingering >I could do a setup and fix it, but then I would need to set it up again next week when the parts arrive
Grayson Hernandez
It's just to control the functions of the pedal
Here's a guy who's using a fcb1010 with custom firmware to control his axe-fx ii
If I wasn't so broke right now I'd get one and an audio interface to fuck around with the Bias FX vst
Owen Brown
I've only used the software to update patches, most of the time it's plugged up to headphones or a ss amp. Once I found the tone I was looking for it took me a while to dial it in. I got it for 100 bucks so I really can't complain, it does the job.
Elijah Bennett
Nice man that's one of my favorite licks and solos. His stuff is so hard to emulate, especially the attack and artificial harmonics, good job.
Brody Diaz
I've heard it's laborious using the controller to make presets. How are the effects?
Blake Evans
Nice man! That's a tough riff up to speed. Love the little country lick at the end with the open strings
Jeremiah Phillips
I only use the stereo delay and plate verb and they're good, again it took some tweaking. Dirt from the amp model is plenty. The menus on the floor take some getting used to. It's a lot easier to use the patch repository on Line 6's site, chances are somene already made one that your looking for.
Kayden Wilson
Literally how do you fix guitar intonation problems boys?
I adjusted the string length so that they're more or less in tune when played open and on the 12th fret, but the notes on the first few frets are sharp as shit. Open chords sound like ass.
Electric guitar btw.

At least the truss rod access is on the heel so it's not entirely a garbage instrument.
Jack Hall
I'm not talking about that, though. I mean the notes on the first few frets (and only the first few frets) are measurably sharp (using a chromatic tuner).
I know fretted instruments can never be perfect but it's way off. It's not this bad on my classical.

Daniel Williams

Jaxson Anderson
Does anyone actually believe this? Surely it's just a meme and people recognise that the resonant properties of the wood can influence the vibration of the string.
Elijah Gonzalez
Maybe in an acoustic
Christopher Perez
>trying to learn tool songs but the rhythms are tricking me
So, you believe a string vibrates identically regardless of the resonant properties of the system to which it is attached? How does this make sense?
Parker Watson
The resonant properties are negligible in an electric instrument
Easton Hughes
finally quit a band i haven't wanted to be in for a while

The bridge material is what matters, pot metal, aluminum, bone, brass will cause different sounds. The wood has literally no effect

Andrew Hall
>Blanket statement about a class of things with multiple different materials and methods of construction
You know this isn't true. You know it can't be true. Some electric guitars are very resonant, some aren't, it only stands to reason that that property would effect the vibration of the string.

>3 years That sounds like a lot. What do you think would be a dificult fingerstyle song to play?
Wyatt Smith
3 years is not a lot if you start with have no guitar skills whatsoever. I mean you could do it in 1 year too probably depending on the amount of time you put in. But you probably will be struggling with chords in the first few months.
What's a good practice amp? I'd usually just use my jazz chorus or ac30 but I'm moving to an apartment and they have a really strict policy on noise.
Currently deciding between the Vox Pathfinder 10 or an Orange Microcrush 3 watt.
They're both about the same price. I'm partial to Vox because I've been using them the longest, but have always been interested in getting an Orange. However, I'd much rather my first amp through them be a proper amp rather than for practice.
Any suggestions are welcome, although I'd prefer a traditional speaker amp than one of those weird headphone plug amps.
Thanks.

I have the exact problem as you, and I use an interface with my mac. I didn't like it at first but I got used to it.

I'm talking more specifically about the Ovation model CE48p-TGE. I saw it yesterday while looking for a new electroacoustic guitar and immediately fell in love with it.
It was gorgeous, sounded awesome (specially the bass notes) and was honestly pretty comfortable. My only concern is that I might be blinded by it's rarity. I love unusual things, and this guitar is no exception.
All I wanted to know is if anyone has owned this (or a similar one) guitar and if there is any piece of advice you could give me so to rethink this more clearly. I mostly play fingerstyle stuff but I'm not attached to any genre so versatility is appreciated.
Thanks in advance anons
Cameron Rivera
That's a KOZM. I think the guy's ideas about ergonomics look interesting, although the process of contouring the back is overblown as fuck. But yeah, I don't like his overall aesthetic and the tits guitar is terrible.
I actually like Knaggs guitars. I can see why they'd be a bit hit and miss. I prefer the Influence series to the Chesapeake series (the Severn is a pretty standard superstrat shape, the Severn X is just ugly as balls). But I still like some of their work.
It's okay I guess. synth access is pretty niche, I'd do without it. Piezo with EQ and blending is a nice touch, and could be more universally useful. I can't name an actual guitar that's more versatile, but I can think of a more versatile way of wiring two 4-conductor HBs, that gives more options than the 5-way you mentioned which iirc PRS came up with first. It involves a 4 way switch, to switch between: -bridge coils -outer coils -inner coils -neck coils and one of the pots would be a momentary push-push pot, to switch between the above coil configurations being in series or parallel, giving a total of 8 different configs, instead of 5 (where you have to sacrifice 3 of the possible configs to make it fit on the one switch)

I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT STEVIE RAY VAUGHANS HAMILTON STRAT.

Jonathan Lopez
Hey there blues boy. Listen to it and try to emulate it is all i can say.
Jace Jones
Don't know what this soyboy meme is but if you want an affordable thick strat neck, the EJ model is nice and thick with a 12" radius. On this note, I don't really know why fender doesn't make more 12"radius necks. I think the only one available are the MIM ones.
Isaac Brown
Not the same as the hamiltone. Now a neck thru ebony bridged strat type is in my diy wishlist.
