ITT: Reliable character actors

>ITT: Reliable character actors

Post "that guy" actors who always give a good performance, even if the movie/show itself is forgettable.

Pic related, Donal Logue has been in everything and he's always great.

JT Walsh

Kevin Corrigan

Michael Chiklis

Still can't believe he died in 1998. Could've sworn he was around much longer than that.

Grounded for life was underrated SitKino and pure MummyFuel

Michael Wincott

garret dillahunt

Brad Dourif. From the voice of Chucky to Wormtongue in LOTR, this dude has done it all.

Is Walton Goggins still a that guy?

If he is, he's one of the best ever.

He was the best part of Blade.

Donal Logue is great, he was also in the second season of this Detectivekino, so that was a nice surprise.

>tfw FX fucking up the advertising for Terriers is entirely why it was cancelled

It was years ahead of its time.

His daughter is good too.

this guy was in it as well

nice

I prefer them bloody and dirty.

He used to be that guy
then he did Hateful 8

chloe moretz desu, shes a fantastic actress but he brother manager just picks the shittiest films for her

Fairly cute, but looks way too much like Brad Dourif for me tbqh

That just makes me harder.

he was great in Tao of Steve

It took me three episodes and a few wanks to realise that she's his daughter.

>nobody mentioned the undeniable GOAT character actor

...

how old is he now ?
95?

90

>tfw he might go soon

OP said that guy actors. That's not a that guy actor, that's acting legend Harry Dean Stanton!

Unfortunately to most people he's a "that guy"
And "that guy" and "character actor" are sometimes used interchangeably, obviously not always justified tho

...

He could play Frasier's third brother in the inevitable Frasier motion picture.

Not a mega star but he works a lot and is always great.

Biggest 'that guy' ever

He already did, opposite Viggo talking about weeners the whole time no less.

Lance fucking Reddick.

For when the movie needs an FBI boss, a CIA boss, a Police boss, a Military boss, a Secret Service boss, a Government boss, or a hotel clerk.

>or a hotel clerk.

Not really a "that guy" actor but he always delivers. I'll keep watching a bad movie only because he's in it.

These are both fantastic in Gotham

John Hurt.

Can't believe Hurt is only 76. Feels like he's been an old man for 40 years.
