Movie longer than 2 hours

>movie longer than 2 hours
>credits at the start

what?

>movie doesn't play in chronological order

>overture
>intermission

kino

You're saying you won't watch a movie if it's longer than 2 hours?

Credits at the start is a tell tale sign that the movie is going to be kino.

Yes, I do. But I usually watch them in 2 phases

Barry Lyndon's got them and it sucks

>Yes, I do. But I usually watch them in 2 phases

Are you either a child or retarded?

That's a bit rude m8

You also read books in only 1 night?

>I usually watch them in 2 phases

>dog gets a credit

You generally don't have enough free time to read an entire book in one sitting. That's very different from not being able to pay attention to a TV screen for 2 hours.

I've read novels in one night, I average 100 pages per hour, but you don't enjoy them as much as reading it in 1 week, reading about 60 pages per day

Imo it's the same with movies

Give me a valid argument to prove I'm wrong

I like to think about what I'm doing, if a movie doesn't make you meditate then it's a bad movie

>he doesn't pause the movie every 20 minutes to gave an in-depth discussion of the themes, imagery, and symbolism of what he just saw

>he doesn't do that after watching the whole thing

>he can't remember further than 20 minutes back

>I like to think about what I'm doing, if a movie doesn't make you meditate then it's a bad movie

When I asked if you were retarded I was including autism.

>if he don't think the same way I do he be autistic
gettin a bit tired of this dumb meme to be honest

>he watches movies so plebian in nature that the entire thing can be analyzed all at once in just a few minutes

>in just a few minutes
You have made an argumentative error.

>there isn't a title screen until the movie ends

It's not a meme. You literally just typed out the sentence, "I like to think about what I'm doing, if a movie doesn't make you meditate then it's a bad movie" and posted it to a message board. If you're not autistic, you're under 12 years old.

I can literally watch any movie at fast forward and still analyze every single frame in 0.05 seconds lmao

Explain the relation between my sentence and autism please

English is not my first language, I may be missing something here

>he's so plebeian he can't spell the word "plebeian"

>not pausing the kino exhibition every 20 minutes to get snacks and go to the bathroom for tv nostalgia comfyness

>he's such a faggot he corrects peoples spelling on the internet

>movie has no credits at all

>filmography begins with a title card reading "Part One"

>crew members pets in the credits

>not pausing the kinograph sequence at regular 10 minute intervals to feverishly masturbate

>he's so assblasted all he can do is mutter "y-you're a f-f-faggot"

>3 hour movie
>only 10-15 minutes are worth watching
Guess the movie

BvS?

faggot

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

>Finish watching movie in theater.
>Credits start to roll.
>Walk out.
>Find out later that there was an extra part after the credits in an attempt to cuck people into sitting there and watching it all.
>Pirate movie.
>Send copy to friends so they don't spend any money to see it.

2001

Interstellar

Doesn't have 10 good minutes

Only movies for kids do that, you probalby didn't miss much

Credits at the start is what films in the 30s and 40s did.

those $5 porno dvd's with 6 she-male movies on one disc?

truth mah nigga. The plot wouldn't get resolved till literally the last seconds of the movie, then suddenly theme music swells, "The End", lights up, GTFO.

People do this even for movies that aren't Marvel movies now. It's the funniest shit.

It still happened up until the 80's.
While many movies did it before, George Lucas popularised opening credits and got fined by the directors guild for it.

the texas chainsaw massacre

still the best format. Why doesnt it make a comeback?

Back then, they didn't have to list every 2nd Assistant to the Key Grip or all 125 Southeast Asian CGI lackeys. They had a simpler set of credits because they didn't have to list every lowly production person, so they could get through them quickly. If they did all the credits first now, it would truly suck, some Credit rolls last 10 or 15 minutes nowadays.
