america is one continent mate. It's subdivided in 3: North ,central and south America. You education system teaches South and North america are completely unrelated to make you feel like a special snowflake

North and South America are as connected as North America and Eurasia. There is a large area separating them that is extremely challenging to cross. In one case it's a jungle, in the other, it's a cold ass Strait.
