>Haas confirms Kmag and Fat John for 2018
what does this mean for Gio and Leclerc, and if they get the Sauber seats, then what about Princess Pascal?

>less brain dead webm spam

where did that bolt or whatever even come from? there wasn't another car in sight

flew off Ruben's car, I think you can just make him out under the Allianz sign at 0:02-0:03?

>and if they get the Sauber seats

Sauber will have Honda power next year though, so one will be a Jap, and Eric's Son will get the other because of the owners.

>what does this mean for Gio and Leclerc

They're fucked

Are you ready for the annual return of RELENTLESSposting, Sup Forums?

>what you did there

/cheeky/

...

>one will be a Jap
no Japs with enough superlicence points

I'm sure Ferrari can pay enough to give the second Zauba seat to Leclerc. Gio will probably be shit-out-of-luck

Thanks to Kubica, Vettel got his debut subbing for him after his crash at Canada.

>Sauber will have Honda power next year
they are apparently getting out of that deal

motorsport.com/f1/news/sauber-honda-engine-deal-called-off-929575/

>implying FIA would deny Matsushita a super license if Honda wanted him in F1
>"Under exceptional circumstances Appendix L also allows the FIA to award a Super Licence to a driver who does not meet the normal criteria if a vote reveals unanimous agreement by the members, and provided that the driver has completed 300 kilometres of testing at racing speeds in a current car."

The system was set up to prevent a) 14 year old drivers and b) Alex Yoong-tier pay drivers from entering F1.

>Pascal Picci
>Paskal Pissi

:DDDDDDDDDDD

Apparently Sauber have a contract for engines, but not for the additional "support" (ie $$$$$) that Honda was going to provide.
Could still go either way, but I suspect it's just Honda wanting more control over Sauber.

...

>yfw the 2018 Honda engines are GOAT and Sauber win the Constructors' Championship

Timeline only exists if McLaren get rid of Honda for 2018

Do exceptional circumstances include drivers who in three years of GP2/F2 have only managed one win per year (all in sprint races) (and he's in a fucking ART)? Even Haryanto managed three in one year.

He's Japanese Formula 3 champion so I guess it would.

>Alex Yoong-tier

>look up Yoong to see what he's up to now
>dafuq

That's either a very poor field, or he found his niche.

23rd for Hamilgod.

for Sauber anything would be better than using year old Ferrari engines. The stronger Renault and Honda get is worse for Haas. It's nice being in front of Renault McLaren and Sauber in the constructor's standings.

>25th

like watching VHS tapes of Schumacher doing Formula Nippon.

BRACING

Formula Nip was top tier. Schumacher (both), Irvine, Herbert, Katayama, Salo, Frentzen, Kristensen...

Caption this.

just give it up. he's old and bald now.

>sell team

>get back in with engine
>dreams of power
why hondurr is so shit?

>supporting (((Kubica)))

the minardi he drove was shit tier.
but alonso in the same car was got some talent.
yea he found his niche.

going to McLaren after that one-off with BrawnGP was supposed to be the best thing that ever happened to Button. Instead the team kinda went downhill while he was there.

>mercedes 1-2 lol

Nothing's gonna stop us

since GP2 is F2 now they should get rid of the rule banning series champions from returning.

back in the Jim Clark days in the original F2 there were full time F2 drivers that made a career out of F2 and didn't bother with F1 for whatever reason. but I feel like you can't really do that nowadays. If they got rid of the champions rule then guys like Valsecchi and Leimer would still have a ride. They wouldn't be forced out of F2.

Way ahead of you, m8.

pretty spot on

Vandoorne and Gasly are bringing some attention to Super Formula at least.

webm request of sato in a super aguri overtaking alonso at canada 2007.

that shit is one of the funniest things to happen

...

reminder Sato has more podiums than Hulkenberg.

...

...

all Pascal does is exceed all expectations and score points with shitboxes and he still gets overlooked. It doesn't help that Ocon stole his seat at Force India and seems to be doing well so far.

what happened to sato again?

Won the indy 500

getting BTFO by Ocon, who had no experience with the Manor car and could barely fit in it, during the second half of 2016 didn't do him any favors

>tfw finally burned out with vanilla wow
Lads, what kind of pastime should i take now

Also Leclerc won't get a Haas seat next year, wonder where he'll end up.

Old school runescape :^)

tibia is the patricians choice.

afternoon, lads

waglad, did you find her?

i wonder, would the FIA block attempts by other constructors to set up a rival racing series? Not that a hypothetical "Formula A" would make much money competing against F1, but it's a nice thought

I just ragequit vanilla as some pussy ass horde had to bring out his pussy friends when I killed him fair and square

and this was right after some pussy ass 60 mage ran the fuck away when me and some other dude fucked him up good

why is horde so pathetic?

Marketing does a good job at thaat on its own.

Meaning that a new series could out-market F1 somehow

Needs two halos.

Actually, won't the meme car need two halos (or one big halo) or does safety only apply to well-paid drivers?

Best F1 race ever.

>Actually, won't the meme car need two halos (or one big halo)

I'm sure they'll argue that there's no chance of debris/wheels hitting it since it's the only car on track, so it doesn't need it.

Which once again is a million miles away from the "Bianchi hit a tractor, we have to do something, REEEEEEE" start point.

lol

Sato based as fuck.

I wanna see the teams make them look pretty af

...

On rails

this is a joke right?

You must have a fat ass if that's reminiscent of a toilet seat

Could F1 survive without FIA?

youtube.com/watch?v=Graj3Pm1Pvw

wtf now i hate webms

im american sized

whats the point of the halo without glass?
didnt they adjust the tractors so the cars cant fit under them anymore?

glass made them nauseous supposedly

Nurburgring 2007 was a preview of the Bianchi incident.

>mercedes proposes internally designed concept
>fia butchers it
>shield gets proposed but hardly developed
>test driven by crybaby vettel and one session was enough to discount it altogether
>only team that voted yes was ferrari

There's some really dodgy shit going on, I don't see how this can't be agreed upon and openly developed like a spec part for the car. It is retarded to push this through so quickly based on almost nothing and only "17%" chance of incident avoidance meanwhile who knows the complications of extraction or what happens if/when the part fails.

I for one can't wait until the halo kills or maims someone and we can say goodbye to this whole ugly episode.

what would happen if thousands of soccer ultras packed a grandstand and did their usual thing of flag waving, chanting and letting off fireworks during a grand prix?

>tractorcunt saved Hamilton

it's not fair

How would they get the fireworks into the track?

a flare fits in your pocket.

as a greek, you should know that Nick.

I thought Vettel was supposed to have the best car.

>greek
""""no""""
Surely fans are screened as they pass the gates though. Letting off a flare at an F1 race is haram on muh safety grounds. Would they really pay €99999999.99 for a grandstand ticket and risk being removed or denied entry?

enjoy gp2 while you can before they update to the new car and add the halo. if f1 adds it then gp2 will add it.

>Surely fans are screened as they pass the gates though
Dunno, never been to a grand prix. But surely there are some races where they're less strict on what can be brought into the circuit. I'm thinking Hungaroring and Monza are two of those, while a place like CotA it would be harder.

Asking because some madman let a flare off on the hill during the crows-cats game last night and got me thinking how funny it would be to see a whole grandstand at a grand prix engulfed in red smoke and banners waving.

Don't go to the FIA headquarters tomorrow.

enjoy prison

Found this pic of the tifosi lighting a flare at Monza. That's probably the closest we'll see to ultras.

he's Finnish so he'll most likely commit suicide afterwards
