is there a bigger dopamine booster than the live version of surrender with all the screaming girls
I don't think so
The complete concert >>> condensed original
Cheap Trick didn't have a single lousy song in the 70s.
The Allman Brothers Band - At Fillmore East
You may not like it, as they say, but this might be what peak blues performance looks like
Band of Gypsys is better
HELLO THERE LADIES AND GENTLEMAN
HELLO THERE LADIES AND GENTS
>peak blues performance
>wh*te "people"
Choose one and only one
These are all excellent.
>honorable mentions
The Who - Live At Leeds
Wings - Wings Over America
Nirvana - Unplugged
Rush - All The World's a Stage
Ramones - It's Alive
Dead Kennedys - Live at the Deaf Club
ARE YOU READY TO ROCK
ARE YOU READY OR NO
WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO A NUMBER WITH ME?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO A NUMBER WITH MEEE?!
>one black man to justify their cultural appropriation
Great. Now see
This user knows the real deal.
t. angry Grateful Dead fan
Blasphemy's live album, even with shitty bar house music and the PA announcing last call
Imagine how bad a live album of Tekashi or any other modern rapper would be
>tfw can't hold on
Rust never sleeps
Sabotage/live
The live performances of these songs put the studio recordings to shame, heavy as h*ll.
>live albums
why?
correct, but I think they had more jazz influence, too.
My personal favorite of the genre is pic related
Some people enjoy music that isn't hip hop.
no Way. Fillmore East had blues, jazz, rock, country swing all rolled into a psychedelic mix of sheer artistry...a much broader soundscape than BoG.

>Dat aces high
What made Japan such a great place for live albums?
Quiet audience
Their crowds. They love singing along more than the drunk and high American/European crowds.
Mine too. Here is another great one.
if this doesnt give your willy a tingle then man i dont know what will
GOAT
The Live in San Francisco series is just incredible as a whole, for a ton of bands that've put them out the live sets are my favorite album.
Especially Destruction Unit, that album is insane.
because
it's like going to a show without have to actually go.
yes
>Wings
Absolutely.
This one is magical.
Such a fun album.
Underrated as fuck. McCartney at his peak.
KISS alive! My first ever vinyl record
also this one
Hmmmn, Does this have Richie Blackmore on it. He is the main thing I like about Deep Purple.
i like this one just for the historical context
I have a full house fuckers, so I win the pot.
no it doesn't
blackmore only recorded one song with them, smoke on the water
Besides those already mentioned
and this (together with every other Zappa live album)
>Didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying
>CRY CRY CRY
>Feelin' all alone without a friend you know you feel like dyin'
Pink Floyd has some really amazing bootlegs too
Crowds that are both frenzied and respectful, allowing for a clear sound during the music and great audience response in-between. Basically what people want in a live album.
It's kind of a live album I think?
This one is heavenly
John Cale - Fragments of a Rainy Season
The Sound - In The Hothouse
The Birthday Party - Live 81-82
Spacemen 3 - Performance
John Lee Hooker - Live at Cafe Au Go-Go
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey one of mine too!
