the problem with goverment jobs is that it is squeezes your soul like a lemon. You learn zero, so after 15 years no one will hire you because you know nothing valuable.
Private companys is better learning and better pay, but less comfy.

It was fairly easy for me to get an IT job where I did not do literally anything in a rural place getting paid pretty well...
The jobs like that in San Jose/ San Francisco are impossible to get and they pay 3 times more.

In western countries the government employs 10-25% of all working people, more in rural areas, less in cities.
They tend to do social work, public works (roads/sewers), fire, police, welfare, healthcare (even though they bill you usurious amounts for it), and general bullshit.
Most of the jobs you just sit in an office and go on reddit/Sup Forums.
