2017 T BH

tough one desu

Team on the right has a storied history. Sure, they aren't always the best team in the league, but their fans still show up and get wasted, some of their players will go down as greats, and the down-home atmosphere they radiate makes the whole league comfortable with them. A team of uncles, drunks, and cozy mediocrity.

Team on the left are something old and dead trying to look young and hip. A disgusting second rate college team that uses some gimmicky system to achieve less than nothing in some godforsaken conference. Team of the left is tryhard, gimmicky, and reeks of desperation and long term brokenness.

who was worse

the 0-16 lions or the 0-16 browns?

the 2017 Browns have way more talent, they had like 5 or 6 games that they would have won with some luck. and the defense wasnt that bad. 2016 was just pitiful though

0-16 browns, lions weren't that bad they were putting up points they just couldn't outscore their opponents

2011 Colts. that's the sorriest team i've ever seen take the field in my lifetime. don't know how they got 2 wins.

2017 was a much better all around team, except they started the worst QB they've had in probably 20 years in every game they could
Hogan came in midway through a game and was a beast, then they gave him a singualr start in which he was pretty bad (but equal to an average Kizer game) and pulled the plug. He would have been an improvement, and Kessler IIRC actually has respectable career numbers but I think he was hurt all season or something

weren't a ton of teams tanking that year for Luck?

well if so, they certainly didn't do as good of a job as the Colts.

The Browns don't even have a logo on their helmets.

They honestly barely feel like a real team.

>h-he’s gonna be the GOAT any day now

He could've been if nearly any other team got him
The Clots the last 2 decades are literally just the Browns but with a QB. Except this time they Brownsed too hard and gave the QB a bunch of naplins as an O-line and so he died. Even if he comes back better than ever with Nazi engineering, McDaniels will ensure his career ruination continues

Agreed. Any other team would be enjoying great success. Hell imagine if he'd been drafted by a team like the Jags?

Bama obviously beats both

Roll tide

The funny thing is both went 0-16 playing in the clearly inferior conference that year(NFC went 27-37 vs AFC in 08, AFC went 23-41 vs NFC this year)

>called the cleveland browns
>the team is orange
why can't americans tell colours apart?

browns played against statically weaker teams and still couldn't win
they went up against a steelers team that had third stringers

a team full of first rounders
vs
third stringers

Most Americans are colorblind from diabetes.

Didn't they play the 1st stringers to a very close game their first meeting?

Also they were a dropped pass from 1-15

It's named after a man with the most boring name of all time

...

but he's a cartoon character from the 2000's
isn't the team older than that?

Maybe they were the reason why the conferences where weaker? Adding 16 losses and zero wins to your conference's overall WL certainly doesn't help it

Assmad Toxinsfags everywhere today

The Browns' offence was slightly worse, but the Lions' defense was absolutely atrocious

Lions were worse

Named for the literal god of football, Paul Brown

I still can't believe that they let Mike Pettin go after 2 seasons. Any coach is a fool if he takes the Cleveland job. You get no time to build at all before getting the boot.

>Paul brown is a cartoon character
What

Cards fan here. Colts front office is retarded. Andrew Luck is doubly retarded for signing extensions there; basically signed his own death warrant. He could be on any of a dozen teams that would be contenders.

2017

The subtle off-orange coloring, the tasteful thickness of it.

Left had Josh Gordon

If the 2017 browns played the 2016 browns it would end in a tie with each team committing four turnovers

Well you only play 4 games vs the other conference so yeah it doesn't help but it's not the reason

No way would one team with Kizer and one team without Kizer have the same number of turnovers

Not fooling me, Toxinsfag. We’d be contending for an Owl if Luck was healthy this year
