This shit wasn't fair, I was expecting a fun ernest movie and I was screwed over and traumatized
sauce?
>this was a children's movie
That movie was just straight up nightmare fuel for a kid.
...
>the two guys slowly move to the corner
>expect some retarded 2deep4you lynchshit behind the corner
>instead get spooked
pretty good moment
Bad video, but this scene from War of the Worlds fucked me up. I had no idea how cheap this kind of scare would become later on but I guess in the 50's it was fresh.

No, it was a childrens kino.
Basically everything about that was nightmare fuel, still have a crush on Fairuza like 20 years later
Bost Spurdo.
That is still the most terrifying scene I've ever seen in my life. Perfect combination of dread and jump scare. David Lynch movies and stuff like Eyes Wide Shut freak me out more than straight genre horror movies
Willow. Even the midget freaked me out.
Yes child, fear my mighty pizza slicers!
What? It was spooky, but I knew Lynch before this movie and I anticipated it. It seems typically Lynch to have the guy from his dreams suddenly be real, or appear to be real.
I think proponents of Lynch seem to have this idea that you have to understand what's happening to enjoy it. While it did make for a nice "uh-huh!" moment when I figured it all out, I didn't know what the fuck was going on in Lost Highway for years and it was still one of my favorite films.

what movie?

This guy gets it, well stated
She really was a shit witch when you think about it.
HELLO DAVE!

Is this the bear that rides the scooter? That shit was absolutely horrifying.
I knew it was a metaphor for his step mothers but still it freaked me the fuck out. I think it spit out fish heads too. Always hated metal and water clanker too
...
mad fuckin marge, the tim burton shines through pretty good.
The belly button probe from the Matrix

What in the fuck? I've never seen this movie and this is still fucking creepy. As a kid I would've been fucked up for weeks because of that scene.
>was a child when the ringwalker came out
>not underageb&
HOW BOUT THIS? Rotoscopes are fucking terrifying.
This movie scared me more than Alien as a kid
...
Signs, fuck this movie.
user, fellowship of the ring is almost two decades old
welcome to my childhood
especially later on in the deadly desert when one of them wheels too fast and lands in the sand and then his body turns to sand and he dies on the spot
the Wheelers were scary as fuck at the start, but by the end they are truly shit and idiot punks who are not threatening at all
they should've became cannibals and ate one of their own halfway through
Its not even on a scooter its just wheeling around fast as fuck.

I thought it was just one of my childhood nightmares but this thread reminded me it exists.
I'm pretty sure that's impossible.
That bird call shit though, and the skull masks. I mean yeah after they get rekt by a shittier-than-before tin can they're not so tough. The fucking claymation facerock though.
Dr. Mulholland, I'm homeless
you made my day dude
jesus
It came out 2001. You could have been 3 years old when it came out and you wouldn't be underage
Doesn't sound right, thats... weird.
tämä
jeebus
I had dreams like Ripley in Aliens, after seeing this
this was actually genuinely more scary that actual rated R horror movies made today
Thanks Disney for that banshee
Just watching this now makes the hairs on my neck stick up. The voice over for the cat is top quality terrifying to a child.
Thought I posted the timestamped link; go to 6:15
pretty uncanny, but once you see they're just dudes with creepy looking helmets it's not too bad
There are scary momentsin Ghostbusters 2 that used to terrify me as a kid.
This one was the worst:
>You could have been 3 years old when it came
that's me :)
oh man this brings me back
Fkin hell.
Showing this to your kid is litterally child abuse :(
Toy Story 3
>When his horse gets stuck in the mud
you know what movie
>[Everything goes silent]
>THERE'S THE BEAR.
Me on the left
>13 years old today. Not underage.
Are you drunk?
Gmork in Neverending Story
>AAAARTAAAX!!!
Still having a hard time everytime i watch this movie.
this and everything with it
I watched Mulholland drive recently and this scene made my heart skip a beat, scarier than any horror film.
Although very unnerving, this scene aroused me incredibly because all those heads are fucking hot.
Also, that film is fucking incredibly well designed. The sets, costumes and characters are amazing.
Who's the kid? Wanna watch it for him 2bh
