On AISH (assured income for the severly handicapped)
Get full benefits with my AISH card. They pay for gym membership, bus pass, meds, dental, vision. they even reimburse me because I have to drive 2 hours outside the city to see my shrink.
Get 1700 assured income. Can make an extra 1200 on top of that without being penalized so I work part time at safeway. I also pick up cash work where I can.
Do better on AISH then I ever did working. Bipolar. 35 years old. It's a really difficult program to get on though.
