What went so horribly wrong?
What went so horribly wrong?
nothing
Nothiing, it is the good one
too little adventuring
no beginning
no end
Nothing went wrong you autist
Your dad forgot to pull out.
It wasnt 14 hours long.
was much better than RoTK and has some of the best scenes out of all 3
Legolas surfing down a set of stairs on a shield.
Not enough diversity
Nothing. It was was the worst of the books, so naturally it would be the worst of the films. Still good, though.
legolas hardly plays a role in the books. the only badass thing he does is shooting down the nazghul. the real badass is aragorn.
trying to exploit the imagery of 9/11 to advertise the movie
fukken jackson and tolkein i swear
>It was was the worst of the books
the three hobbit films he made after
It was the point where LotR became just another big, dumb, CGI-driven summer blockbuster.
Only plebs remained on board after that.
But RotK was the best LOTR film?
Fellowship >>> Two Towers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Return of the King
the battle was slightly long, but other than that it was done personally
be gone, fowl shitposter
WARNING: This is a bait thread with bait posters. Be careful, people are out to get yous

Fellowship > RotK > Two Towers
Nothing to see here.
The changes to Faramir. It was good otherwise.
It's great though. It's only problem (which is hardly unique) is that it isn't FotR. That it even was comparable in quality is huge fucking achievement.
This
Absolutely nothing. Kino like the rest of the trilogy.
>Intro to Concerning Hobbits plays as Sam and Frodo scrape up the side of Mount Doom and it literally feels like they're not going to make it even though they do since you've read the books.
>I can't carry that ring, Mr Frodo, but I can carry you...
That scene will never not make me tear up.
>that opening scene with Gandald falling to face the Balrog
still amazes me
Was my favorite one. Light on the fantasy bullshit. Heavy on the warfare.
Fotr was great as well. Rotk was terrible.
