Hour long weekly episodes

>hour long weekly episodes
>total of 10 minutes of an episode isn't excessive timelapse filler

What did seƱor Gilligan mean by this?

Best show currently airing. Not for everyone, obviously, especially those with short attention spans. It's not even top 1 percentile in terms of slow moving shows though, maybe top 10 percentile?

>Best show currently airing

the americans

fucking shill

>The americans

Never seen it, don't want to watch a ten millionth spy series no matter how good it is.

Christ do people still do time lapse episodes?

>super boring premier
>every pleb stops watching
>Gus comes back and
>shit will start blowing up
bravo vince?

Fargo is on

I don't actually remember there being any time lapse shots this season. Am I forgetting something?

Saul Go Odman?

Saul Go Odman? Really?

Yes, you are forgetting the time lapse shots from this season

There was one with Mike when he was disassembling his car.

I think that's about it?

>it's a mike spends twenty minutes properly lubricating a door hinge episode

There was timelapse? I thought it was just a normal montage.

the takeaway is that G weighs exactly the same as D

>maybe top 10 percentile?
what did you mean by this? If you say there are so many more good shows that are slow moving then which?

someone should tell the writing staff to have at least 10 minutes per episode of Jimmy being sleazy and funny

whoops meant for

For those who haven't watched it:

>Saul fucks himself over on purpose and acts sleazy
>His blonde girlfriend works hard and tries to fix everything for him
>Cuts to Mike doing something cool for fifteen minutes
>Chuck acts like a massive annoying burden towards everyone he's ever met for a few minutes (or in some cases the entire episode)
>Saul cleverly devises something to make himself look better
>credits roll

There's the plot of each and every episode in the first two seasons. Now you can just start with the Gus episodes. Thank me later.

This show is so fucking boring. Vince just comes up with a few MacGyver things Mike can do, like make a spike strip out of a hose, then figures that's enough content for the next 4 episodes. The only positive thing I can say about this crap is that it's pretty chill to watch it at 2am if you don't want to watch anything that will get your heart rate up or leave you with something to think about as you're trying to sleep.

will blonde gf-not-gf die before Breaking Bad?

No. She just becomes the danger.

I expect Chuck dying and the gf leaving Saul because he's an irredeemable shithead.

Prequels are fucking awful. All this exposition for Mike and he's still always going to have the same awful rushed death.

>it's not even top 99% of shows currently airing
>maybe top 90% of shows currently airing

You might as well have said that it's a show that's on sometimes

I don't think Chuck dies but he will probably be committed. Jimmy is the only reason he wasn't before and he won't save Chuck again

Be honest, Sup Forums.

if you had a sibling/relative become like Chuck, would you enable them and hope they eventually just stop, or have them committed?

>The only positive thing I can say about this crap is that it's pretty chill to watch it at 2am if you don't want to watch anything that will get your heart rate up or leave you with something to think about as you're trying to sleep.

This is actually good in some ways. This could be a silent TV show where we just see Mike doing McGyver stuff and looking tired

But I'm the one like Chuck.

This. my family enables me, obviously

The only worthwhile Mike scene is when he kills those cops. Everything else that actually matters is gonna be in BrBa. Who gives a shit about how he met Gus?

this season has been boring af

It was glaringly obvious that Gilligan was pandering to foot fetishists in S2:E4. Hope that shit doesn't repeat.

>its a Saul conning people in a bar episode
>its a Saul putting up with his asshole brothers bullshit for no reason episode
>its a Saul has a hot girlfriend despite being a balding raspy-voiced cleaning closet lawyer episode
>its a Mike shuffles around and beats the shit out of the entire cartel because he feels like it episode
>its a Chuck calls Saul a bad brother and a conman and a loser and a stupid pile of stupid shit that shouldn't be a lawyer, and then Saul enables his dumb fake bullshit anyways episode

>people actually waste their time on that shit
Honestly, your time is better spent shitposting on tv.

It depends. The difference between being crazy/eccentric is money. Chuck has money. That means despite his mental illness, he has enough money that he'll be able to take care of himself by outsourcing life activities like shopping. There's little risk of homelessness or starvation for him. Chuck's already made something of himself as a lawyer.

In contrast, being committed is highly traumatic and not necessarily guaranteed to fix him.

So for Chuck himself, I probably wouldn't have him committed. If I had some 20 year old brother though who has no marketable skills and would be completely helpless if not for his parents, then yeah, he needs help. Chuck is mentally ill but ultimately able to survive and have a decent quality of life on his own. My opinion is that generally you shouldn't interfere in that case if he's getting along well enough by himself.

>It's a Mike's granddaughter bounces around in a pool barefoot episode

I would push them further and further. See how far they go before they completely break

fuck OFFFFFFF

YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING DIRECTOR

This show feels like a big fuck you from the producers to anyone who expected it to be Breaking Bad + lawyers.

Either it should have been a funny lawyer sitcom as it was originally planned, or it should have been MikeGyver. Unfortunately, they decided to pretend like they have an story instead.

Would you rather wageslave in a cinnabon all day like Saul, or chill in the woods all winter like Walt?

The 2 seasons so far were very good and comfy as fuck. I have to admit though, the 1st episode of season 3 nearly put me to sleep.

You forgot

>Ernesto (yes, the one you forgot about) shows up and is a bro for 3 seconds before leaving again

Besides that pretty accurate tbqh

Money wasn't even a concern for Walt, why wouldn't you take the latter? And for only 1 winter? You'd have to be really desperate for human contact to put up with wage slavery of that sort.

Plus with all of Walt's money he probably could've procured a prostitute too from that one guy he dealt with.

With the cabin you couldn't leave and would have to pay tons of money to get anything. For just an hour of company Walter had to pay the guy like 20k.

I suppose perks of Cinnabon would be the freedom. An actual fresh start, etc.

Also, why the fuck is Saul so paranoid? Who the fuck even cares about Walt's lawyer after all this time?

that's because Walt made it known he was desperate and he was only willing to have that guy as his only point of contact. The guy had the ultimate leverage and Walt let him have it.

I'm sure Walt could roam around the cabin if he wants. It's winter, you can be dressed up.

Obviously it's a different calculation though if I have to stay at that cabin forever presumably like how Saul must wageslave forever

As long as I have access to fresh mobie and vidya being trapped in a cabin alone forever isn't that different from my current life.

>it's a Saul fucks with Chuck by bringing in a radio at full volume playing Dancing Queen while carrying a plasma globe and shuffling on carpet with socks to shock Chuck by poking him because he's fed up with his brother's shit episode

and its still more exciting than better call shit

plasma globe is genius

>SPRINTS into the house with a taser
>"Think fast!"
>"Jimm-- HNngngnnghHGngnznnznczxzzzzzz--"
>"It's a prank, Chuck!"
>rips off the tape

>Best show currently airing.

Narcos

Jimmy at the Cinnabun.

Jimmy is trying to get his senpai's attention SO hard

This the Better Call Saul thread?

I'm happy that Gus is relevant, but whatever happened to Gus' actor making a big deal about not being on Better Call Saul without getting his own show?

>it's a mike spends 40 minutes trying to figure out Excel episode

...

>death
But he went to billys

Pretty sure the guy is just genuinely delighted to return to the Breaking Bad universe.

>unironically liking The Cuckolds
I watched the first season and got so sick of the constant cuck bullshit I couldn't go on.

guess you think even a superhero flick is "kino" if it's 3 hours long

Why does this show even exist? They might has well have just let Breaking Bad run longer.

There's a difference between being a good show with slow pacing, and "slow" meaning nothing of significance is occurring in the writing and it results in boredom.

that's airing? s3 aired ir what? s2 is old

I like BCS' pacing. I like that it unravels the storyline so deliberately and methodically.

>jimmy is gonna steal it at night don't wor-
>CHUCK YOU ASSHOLE
fucking KEK

God I love this show

it's a Saul tries to fit a big cup into a small cupholder episode

yeah that was great. I also loved how Howard snuck in and held back the detective so Jimmy could keep ranting

>make show based on character from Breaking Bad
>make him absolutely nothing like him in the new show

>its a jimmy does morally bankrupt thing that chuck doesn't like so chuck does equally morally bankrupt thing to make sure jimmy's never respected or advances his career, then jimmy finds out and does another thing to make chuck look bad, then regrets it and goes right back to chuck to be belittled and starts the whole thing all over again episode

I'm from Reddit so I think BB Season 5 and BCS are transcendent tv followed by Game of Thrones, Bojak Horseman, and Atlanta. Vince and Nolan should team up!

Narcos sucks dick

>Prequel
>Everyone has physically aged 10 years since Breaking Bad

really exfoliates my postachios

>its a Kim makes copies for 15 minutes episode

If you remove the Mike segments then this show is pretty much Grumpy Old Men: The Early Years.

>It's a Kim strips completely naked in a short scene and flashes her bare vag but no one sees it because they all changed the channel after the first six minutes of Mike chewing on a pimento sandwich episode

>not bravoing Gilligan

wow

Who here /law-fu/?

Why can't she be ten years younger though

Wexler feet on my meat.

Like that's my future wife.

Everyone complaining about long drawn out scenes without dialog must not have watched Breaking Bad.

The problem with Breaking Bad was the long drawn out scenes WITH dialog.
Holy FUCK I want to replace basically every scene with Skyler in it with a white-on-black plot exposition text card.

long drawn out stuff is fine, its the same plot result for two years is the problem.

>3rd season of the show
>still stuck on Jimmy feuding with Chuck and having relationship trouble with Kim

By this stage in Breaking Bad he'd already murdered half a dozen people.

It's not the drawn out scenes, it's the drawn out plot. Nothing has happened in 2 seasons, and nothing will probably happen this season. I've seen more story progression in a sitcom.

Implying this isn't elder-kino

The problem is because Breaking Bad became popular, Sup Forums had to denounce it as being Reddit and they've memed it so much as a show of nonstop explosions and dramatic reveals that the fact it was also a slowburn show for the most part has been lost.

I like breaking bad more but Call Saul is a pretty comfy show. I'm hoping for something big this season though.

>it's a mike slowly drinks a cup of coffee over the course of an hour season finale

don't forget the nuts

As many channels as there are there should be a sleeping/background channel. Name is "Nap" or something. Mike could be the first golden show for the network. Sounds great!

>it's a mike gets a hair transplant episode

don't spoil season 4!

that's his core audience tho. Feet and ankles.

there are 10 hour ASMR vids on YouTube for that

The people that hate on it probably missed BB which is why they cant understand anything that's going on.

Better Fem Dom

There wasn't one second of filler in the last episode. It was perfect.

>its a Kim typing a word document at 11pm episode
>its a Chuck reading old newsprint in the dark and sobbing for six hours until Jimmy visits him episode
>Its a Mike sits in his toll booth and does a sudoku puzzle episode
>its a Saul mixes bread dough at cinnabon and coughs into the crook of his arm season premiere
>its a Gus fills out his tax forms by hand episode
>its a Mike watches his daughter in law in the shower without her knowledge episode
>its a Saul doing laundry episode
