I don't know what that is. Probably some cheap-ass prepackaged cheese. Proper American cheese you get from the deli will be a light yellow-white. If your cheese is the color of dehydrated piss you have something else.

Cows fed dry feed produce white cheese. This cheese is colored with annato to make it yellow.
Obviously you would expect the people who make cheese to know how much annato they need to add to make the cheese the appropriate color.
