I was one of those fans that wanted this to be completely out there and crazy but I'm not sure I like just what it is yet. There's a lot of good stuff in there, but I can't shake the bad audio and the wooden performances.

I only watched the first two episodes so far. So far there has been zero quirky humor like in the original series, except for maybe the fat motel lady scene.
Most scenes are not even set in Twin Peaks, and only a few characters from the original are shown so far, and they don't do much.
We get to see a lot of Coop, both doppelganger and Real.
Seems like the series is going full Fire Walk With Me. Which I am disappointed by. The reason I loved the original seasons so much is because the trippy surreal stuff was used sparingly and therefore had more impact and was more interesting when it was shown.
