The whole dlc was underwhelming compared to the main game. I still had to buy it obviously since bloodborne is the best game ever made. The bosses were decent at least. Especially ludwig. Orphan was pretty hard

Each to their own I guess. The atmosphere and level design of the main game was much more interesting to me. It was my first souls game to be, but that's partly why I bought it. I've completed all the others since then obviously. Come to think of it, I hate the look of the dlc's first area. Nothing worse than a re-used area with a "look everything's all messed up and contorted like a crazy dream world" feels like a cop-out to me. The other dlc areas were better though.
