What's the verdict?

What's the verdict?

I like it.

So far, the "verdict" seems to manifest in the form of a pretty stable lmao LYNCHED/lmao lynchfags back and forth

So far it's everything I hoped for but there are still a lot of ways they can screw this up if they really try.

It's mediocre.

I say this as a fan of both Twin Peaks and Lynch's work. And before some stupid normie kid replies to my post with "LE LYNCHD XD" let just tell you that I did enjoy Inland Empire, as well as every other Lynch film that I've watched.
You can't even compare the new season to Lynch's old work or Inland Empire, or even Twin Peaks. It's a mediocre mess designed to appeal to normies.

>mediocre mess designed to appeal to normies.

Examples? Take you are time, please.

Best hour of the week.

Which tells us that passing a verdict before not even a half of the show has aired is fucking stupid

If you're a diehard lynch fan its the greatest thing ever and anyone who dares to have an issue with it is LYNCHED and just stupid.
If you're not a diehard lynch fan its a tedious and boring mess of elongated scenes and entire 20 minute segments of dougiecoop retarding around.

>It's a mediocre mess designed to appeal to normies.
>appeal to normies
nice bait.

Uh, how about "Miami" Coop, can you say "We want the Archer audience?'

Doesn't have any of the mystery or charm of the first season. It's an okay Lynch outing but and a deliberate trolling for anyone expecting a coherent mystery with a light sprinkling of the supernatural.

would you believe it, this is my OC.

bad

t. LYNCHED

This is my purpose in life now. I live from Sunday to Sunday.

dubs

I see the fact that it is isn't conventional at all as a strength. Many normies see it as a weakness. I don't find that surprising at all but if I wanted yet another conventional show I'd watch one of the 9999 already out there.

...

10/10

I'm a normie by Sup Forums standards. , not a huge fan of Lynch's other work (I did love Twin peaks though).

I love it. Especially this last episode. It's slowly starting to get back to old twin peaks form but the previous episodes were great too.

did someone say dubs?

I think it was Chrysta Bell that said "expect to be out of your comfort zone in the best possible way" in one of the teaser trailers and that sums up my feelings about the show so far. Very interesting so far. I think my main gripes with it are the slow pacing and some of the shoddy CG effects. I get that they are intentional but some of them just look bad like the flame effect over the slot machines. Also not that big of a fan of the credits featuring different artists and bands every episode, I preferred Julee Cruise.

...

i'm enjoying it.

love the pacing. never want it to end.

>designed to appeal to normies
What the fuck if anything it's the opposite

loving its a meme the pacing is shit.

its designed to appeal to pretentious fart sniffing dick heads. Get your goblets ready faggots

LYNCHED

Nah.

You haven't watched it closely enough. It's ok. You need a couple of rewatchs. Sit comfortably and do it.

literally rëddit: the show.

state of posters here is proof of this.

Well done.

So you're pissed that it doesn't stay only in Twin Peaks? But honestly, the first seasons hinted at other things happening in other places...it was bound to happen, especially after 25 years...

I know what you mean about the effects, but honestly it's nitpicking. The visual ideas of the show are more important than how they appear technically.

it's a plebbit show through and through just like the original show

Needs more Laura!

K to the I to the N to the O

Incredibly overrated on Sup Forums
Like the original series, Twin Peaks is inferior to most of Lynch's movies. Of course people here act like it's the best thing ever.

Excellent, much better than I expected. Coming together beautifully.
