I can't think of a single sitcom character now as memorable or as funny as Carlton Banks.

I wonder if Phil had a heart attack when the series finished. Obese, sedentary occupation, no interest in improving his health.

I miss watching reruns of this show on NickAtNite.

That was a pretty cute moment. The nonchalant attitude of "business as usual" caps it nicely.

My father hated when I watched this in the mornings. I just didn't care for the more modern sitcoms and shit he usually went for. They were funny but sometimes the nigh-cringeworthy wholesomeness of Family Matters was a bit of a relief.
